How many magical masks are in skyrim

Release Date. Finch Movie Review. Resident Evil 3 Remake is a Hit. In Partnership with Wal-Mart. Forza Horizon 5 Review.
Table of Contents. Valthume in The Reach during Evil in Waiting. Shearpoint in The Pale. Labyrinthian in Hjaalmarch during The Staff of Magnus. Ragnvald in The Reach. Forelhost in The Rift. Increasing the wearer's magicka by points, it can certainly be useful; however, like Morokei, this enchantment is far from unique.
That doesn't mean Miraak's mask is inconsequential. It manifests as either light or heavy armor, depending on which of the player's skills is higher. Both the light and heavy versions boast the highest armor rating of any headgear of their type. However, unlike every other mask, Miraak cannot be improved through smithing, rendering this distinction moot.
At the end of this grueling fight, they can loot the mask from Miraak's body, in addition to several other pieces of unique gear.
Found in the ancient tomb of Forelhost, Rahgot provides the Dragonborn with an additional 70 points of stamina. Like all Dragon Priest masks in the heavy armor class except for Miraak and Konahrik , Rahgot boasts the same armor rating as a Daedric helmet. The enchantment is nothing to sneeze at, and can be extremely useful for power attackers, archers, or any heavy-armored character. Yet, like Morokei, Rahgot's single effect is a bit of a letdown compared to some of the other mask enchantments.
Upon arriving at Forelhost, an Altmer named Captain Valmir will charge the player with bringing back a weapon from inside the tomb. This begins the quest "Siege on the Dragon Cult," during which the Dragonborn must fight Rahgot and can retrieve his mask. Whether it's crippling Rockjoint or a chaurus' acid attack, disease and poison can cripple the Dragonborn in tough fights. Hevnoraak prevents both, giving players two less things to worry about as they pick their way through trap-filled crypts.
For players strong enough to defeat a Dragon Priest, though, disease and poison usually aren't huge concerns. Potions of Cure Disease are cheap, while poisons can be weathered with high HP. However, this mask can be useful when playing through Dawnguard , for those who wish to avoid Sanguinaire Vampiris. Upon arriving at the ruin of Valthume, players will speak to a shade named Valdar, who enlists the Dragonborn's help in completing a ritual. This begins the quest "Evil in Waiting.
Valdar then awakens Hevnoraak, and the Dragonborn can fight the Priest to loot his mask from his corpse. As such, it can prove useful for mages — but mages generally don't favor heavy armor.
In fact, many Alteration users prefer the Mage Armor perk, making protection spells like Stoneflesh up to three times as powerful if the caster wears no armor.
Battlemage-style wizards may find this piece of heavy headgear useful; however, such builds tend to favor Destruction over other magics. Thus, while Vokun bears helpful enchantments, its utility is limited based on play style. In order to complete this objective, they must defeat the Dragon Priest Vokun, who will drop his mask upon death.
They can then find the quest's scroll behind his coffin. He has the ability to summon Seekers from the daedric realm of Apocrypha , and excels in Destruction magic, particularly lightning-based spells. Having Resist Shock potions is highly recommended when battling Zahkriisos, as they will greatly reduce the damage inflicted by these spells.
In the center of ground-level Labyrinthian lies a small weathered dome. Within is a weathered altar with pedestals for each of the eight Dragon Priest masks. Next to the altar is a wooden mask beside a skeleton. When it is equipped, and the player is inside the dome, the player will be transported back to a time when it was in its prime.
When all eight of the unique Dragon Priest masks have been collected, the player can place them all on their respective pedestals. Doing this will reveal the ninth, most powerful, and final mask: Konahrik. For more information, see the Bromjunaar Sanctuary article. Jump to: navigation , search.
In Skyrim [ edit ]. The Rahgot Dragon Priest Mask can help players with traversal and combat by granting the wearer 70 additional Stamina points. The mask has a dark past in the history of Skyrim , though.
Rahgot managed to survive the ancient Dragon War, and presided over a group of dragon cultists who lived hidden, high in the mountains. When the cultists were hunted down, Rahgot ordered his subjects to commit mass suicide, and entombed himself inside of their temple.
Miraak's mask is awarded to the player upon completion of the Dragonborn DLC, and is the final Dragon Priest map on the island of Solstheim. This mask will be helpful to any magic user by granting them an additional Magicka dependent on character level. The Dragon Priest Miraak is the primary antagonist of Dragonborn , and is himself the first Dragonborn. Miraak was taught the power of Dragon Shouts by a Daedric Prince, and used the knowledge to rebel against the dragons he served.
He was eventually bested by another Dragon Priest, Vahlok, who became Miraak's jailor and did not possess a mask of his own. Konahrik is the final Dragon Priest Mask that can be obtained on mainland Skyrim. It is granted to the player when all other Dragon Priest Masks are placed on their shrine. This mask has a chance to heal the player and damage nearby enemies when the player's health is low. Because of the special circumstances of acquiring Konahrik, it does not have a particular Dragon Priest associated with it.
