By this time ODB's been shot, arrested, drunk and high as fuck , got quite a few kids to father etc and sounds depressed, hes a shadow of how we know him on 36 chambers or any of his work before this. And again he's almost ghost on this album, the one dude I wana hear lots of and he just on one tune and hes sounds like hes on a downers, this a sad tune really when you hear what he saying and what he going through.
Its like when I think back to "The Stomp" on his Return to the 36 chambers and he spits " He admires true niggaz like dre n snoop! Damm I wonder what the heck was goign on behind the scenes when this album was being made, I think RZA musta had a lota trouble getting ODB be to record.
Any what I likeabout ODB he keeps it real, talks about his life ,how he feels in alota tracks, I miss ODB for this, this is soul , wu-tang aint the same without this god.. Its just a shame he didnt get through his suffering and have a chance to come like a fresh, reborn ODB.. Well overall to me this is an interesting, enlightening yet upsettign and dissapointing track to me I can always remember looking forward to hearing this for the first time and then being quite dssapointed to hear ODB sounding so down beat on here, yet at the same time, hes one of the realest and interesting MC's to ever grace the mic.
If you piece togther alot of the lyrics that ODB has spat you can actually feel and see the shit he was goiNG through He definetly kept it really real, the world is missing this guy..
