How do digestive and circulatory work together

The bones of your skull and spine protect your brain and spinal cord, but your brain regulates the position of your bones by controlling your muscles. The circulatory system provides your brain with a constant supply of oxygen-rich blood while your brain regulates your heart rate and blood pressure. Even seemingly unrelated body systems are connected.


Your skeletal system relies on your urinary system to remove waste produced by bone cells; in return, the bones of your skeleton create structure that protects your bladder and other urinary system organs.


Your circulatory system delivers oxygen-rich blood to your bones. Meanwhile, your bones are busy making new blood cells. Working together, these systems maintain internal stability and balance, otherwise known as homeostasis.

Anyway, your digestive system is all about getting food into your body, digesting the food, absorbing the nutrients you need, and elimination of the materials you don't need feces.


All animals have one sort of digestive system or another. Anything that eats another creature heterotrophs must have a way of bringing nutrients in and getting rid of what they don't need. What Does This System Do?


What does the system do? We're going to use you as the basis for our explanation of the digestive system. Let's start with eating. You get hungry and you eat. Once you put the food in your mouth, you start to chew and begin a process of mechanical digestion that grinds food down into a pulp.
