For more than 30 years, the Cowboys played at Texas Stadium , one of the most recognizable stadiums in football.

Throughout the next decade, the Cowboys moved away from the idea of renovating Texas Stadium and focused on building a new facility. It took nearly a decade for the team to find a suitable site for construction, settling on a location near Globe Life Park , home of the Texas Rangers MLB. Team officials traveled the country, visiting some of the newest NFL stadiums in order to develop and design the greatest stadium in the league.

Guests who appear to be inebriated and unmanageable will not be permitted admittance into the stadium.


Any attempt to bring alcohol into the stadium will be considered a violation of the Code of Conduct and may result in the guest having his or her ticket revoked, ejected or arrested. Violators of the rules of any State or City laws will be refused admission, asked to leave or ejected from stadium property. The use of headphones is required. The guest must exit through a designated EXIT gate and have his or her event ticket scanned out in order to be readmitted. Guests re-entering the stadium will be required to go through the security search process for a second time.


Guests who leave the stadium and do not have their ticket scanned out will not be permitted to re-enter the stadium using the same ticket. There are public restrooms men, women and family conveniently located throughout the stadium. All restrooms are accessible to guests with disabilities. Guests can receive a free ID bracelet, featuring a space to write in their seat location. The Safe-in-the-Seat Program aids in reuniting lost children and guests with their appropriate parties.
