The hell you say. Descended from the apes? Fuck you! I am no ape. In His image. If'n you do not like it "tough shit" Darwin had his head up his "ASS" that is his self stupid ego ignorance shit for brains. There was controversy over the back cover since a real-life explorer was depicted pointing a gun at an elephant while wearing a pith helmet, so the artwork was altered, with the pith helmet eliminated, and the explorer's face considerably altered.

Concrete caves with iron doors bury it again while a starving frightened world fills the sea with grain. I've loved The Moodies since Been fortunate to meet them all. THIS song remains my favorite of all of their compositions.

Mike was the deep thinker of the group. This song will live forever. And not many are aware of it's depth and orchestral splendor. A masterwork! That's not a paradox. Genes split and mutate all the time to create new mutations - but the old ones don't just vanish. That is why we talk of a tree of life - varieties spawning like branches dividing. Plants and animals do this quite naturally given time and sometimes if the environment changes some of the less adapted species will die out, just like Neanderthal man did.

They would be the experts [ of the highest level ] in the field of science according to their peers. I saw em at the Albert Hall doing this album etc. In the summer of , I was working a Little Ceasers pizza place. It was around midnight on a Saturday and we had on the underground station from Wayne State University in Detroit.

They played the entire album side with Nights in White Satin at the end. I was taken to a spot in my spirit and mind that has not diminshed since. My younger brother's wife, took him to see the "Blues" last spring for his birthday in Vegas. Each day of my life is a "Dawning Day" Listen we think we can see you.!

I'm 54 now and I've been l;istening to this stuff since I was in middle school in the early 70's They just keep getting better and better My wife is taking me to see them in concert the day after tomorrow in Woodinville,Washington Just timeless music.

Man, you could send this song into the future a thousand years from now and it'll still be a great song. My favorite on this, my favorite Moody LP. Dunno if its the mellotron, the guitar, the words, the melody, the voices, the bass, or the drums but jeez this song elevates me. Superlative song! One of my all time favorites.

And indeed, "how is it we are here"?!! Still, agree - totally - with ALL of the above! Thanks, YouTube, for not letting me post things where I was trying to! In my opinion, this is the best song the Moodies ever recorded!!!! And, even though they all contribute, it's Mike Pinder's masterpiece! This is an Anthem to our blue planet. This composition is shaped as crystal. Guitar is not a guitar , each instrument is not use for itself. The stream is conduct ONLY by sounds!

It seems as Pyramid figure with a precious stone on the summet! THIS masterpiece was a true Prophecy it's now main problem of the world!!! Who have listen message of these Artists long time ago? How is it we are here, on this path we walk, In this world of pointless fear, filled with empty talk, Descending from the apes as scientist-priests all think, Will they save us in the end, we're trembling on the brink.

Her love is like a fire burning inside, Her love is so much higher it can't be denied, She sends us her glory, it's always been there, Her love's all around us, it's there for you and me to share.
