Step 1: To compose email in Gmail, first you have to sign-in to your Gmail account. Step 2 : As you sign-in to your account at the left side of your portal you will find a Compose button. This means that no recipients can see the entries of Bcc fields, not even other Bcc recipients. Step 4 : At this step, you need to put up the Subject which gives a precise description of your mail.


Text in a Subject field displays in the inbox of the recipient. Step 5 : Type your mail below the Subject field, it is also called the message body. The actual information that you want to send to the recipients is written here.


You can also format your mail text using the Format option button A beside Send button at the bottom. When you click on it, the new email will be populated with the saved template. You can then press the Enter key to add the person to the To: field. An attachment is simply a file like an image or document that is sent along with your email.


For example, if you are applying for a job, you might send your resume as an attachment, with the body of the email being the cover letter. It's a good idea to include a message in the body of your email explaining what the attachment is, especially if the recipient isn't expecting an attachment. Remember to attach your file before you click Send.


Forgetting to attach a file is a surprisingly common mistake. You can click Send before the attachment finishes uploading. It will continue to upload, and Gmail will automatically send the email once it's done. Click the formatting button at the bottom of the compose window to see different formatting options.
