How tall is ferrigno
Olympia and Olympia Masters. Lou retired as a legend of the sport, being part of the generation that thrust bodybuilding into the limelight. After experiencing huge success, Lou made the decision to give back to the industry. He began helping others to achieve their dream physiques as a personal trainer.
Lou followed a 3-day split routine, training each muscle group twice per week. He performed reps in sets of , as he believed his body responded the best to this. He worked out in the gym every day except Sundays, where he allowed his body to recover and develop. While he was competing, Lou followed a low calorie, high carb diet. He consumed meals per day, keeping his metabolism high and providing his body with enough fuel to grow.
He ate around calories daily — his diet plan consisted of meat, fish, eggs, fruit and vegetables. However, he names Steeve Reeves and Arnold Schwarzenegger as his idols throughout his career as a bodybuilder. I love challenges and I am a very driven guy. Lou has taught us to never let negativity in your life affect you.
He lost most of his hearing as a child and was bullied during school, but he came out stronger, both physically and mentally, to become a legend in his own right. He began lifting weights in the gym at 13, and became a champion 7 years later at the age of Your email address will not be published. During his peak years in bodybuilding, Paul won titles such as Mr.
He stopped playing football, and started going to the gym; inspired by legendary bodybuilding figures such as Gary Strydom, Tom Platz, and Lou Ferrigno.
Had a disc injury. Stopped training. Lost a lot of muscle and got a belly. And lost my mojo for life. At 48 now. Having seen you on Keith lemon. Could not believe how incredible you looked. I already new how old you were. So I am back in the gym. Knowing I have 20 years to make my body change. Click Here Hiddleston and a legit 6'3" Chris Hemsworth Click Here Here's what a guy who isn't 6'3" like Hogan actually tells ppl he's now 6'4.
Click Here 6'1" Bana and 5'11" max Jimmy Kimmel Click Here Bana and 6'3" not 6'3. Click Here 6'4. Click Here 6'4" peak height for Lou? No, not even in shoes. I think peak Lou was max. Click Here Does Lou look tall compared to Matuszak The answer is no. Lou and Mark Eaton maybe 7'3" now Click Here Eaton and 6'4.
Click Here One more for the road Lou and Hogan Here's Lou, Arnie and now 6'5" Ralf Moeller Lou doesn't look near 6'3" with Trump either, though the pic is pretty small and it wouldn't surprise me if Lou was dropping some height. But I think at least a downgrade to current would be pretty safe. It's still tough for me to say whether Lou was peak or just Lou might be dropping more height with Crews, but if he isn't then he's definitely shorter than Dolph now since Crews has always been shorter than Dolph.
I believe Dolph and Lou trained together in the 80's. It'd be very interesting to see them back then still at their peaks. I can believe that dolph, if he stands tall could be either ore Lou is only legit today. He also was exact same height as terry crews recently together and Terry is probably not a legit guy Check this out Click Here : he is 1 icnh taller than trump.
I think trump could still be if he stands tall but Ferrigno does not look a mm over if trump is Peak could have been but i believe he was ,5. Maybe 6'3. He towers cover 5''8. I was referring to Lou's 6'4. I was just remembering how I believed Lou's claim years ago. Pierre: I've seen that photo with Ralf and Lou does look much shorter, but the only thing I wonder about is ground. He looks 6'3" max with Durock too, though the low angle could exaggerate the difference. Difficult to tell how much shorter Perry is there due to ground and posture.
Lou looks maybe 6'3" or just over if Perry is 6'2", but Lou might have ground advantage and Perry might be standing straighter. He's not much shorter than Ralf in the second photo, but Ralf is leaning and might be on lower ground. He didn't look taller than Ali Baba thought in his pic with Lou and Hasselhoff can look an inch or more taller now so 6'2. Lou did look taller than Hulk Hogan in this pic: Click Here Granted, you can tell it's not easy for Hogan to stand like that and Lou looked a bit shorter than Hogan overall, imo back in Click Here and Hogan wasn't over 6'3.
He looked huge in the 70's and I always figured he was 6'4", which I still don't rule out, but he could look more than just an inch shorter than 6'5" listed Michael Cooper back in Click Here Click Here and the 6'4. He looked at best cm peak. Very legit today seems more possible than a full 6 foot 3. He was maybe 15 feet away when he stood up. I'm just a bit over 6', and currently, I would not put him at any more than 6'2. Given I always read as a kid that he was 6'5, it was a little surprising to not see him as really huge, but just normal tallish.
Max Could be heading to 6 foot 2 flat. Arnold was probably 6 foot 1 flat in the evening. Why is that? I can tell you him claiming 6'5 again is pretty dumb. He looks 6'1. Without the lean he can look 6'2.
But I agree that he was never the full 6'4" at peak. STraighten him up in the top pic and I believe he comes at around 6'2 easily" on the height chart. This of course is at age 62, so a loss of around 1" is possible. Peak height he had to have been hovering around 6'3", possibly breaking that mark.
Maybe he's had a later-life growth spurt? Next to Stan Efferding ok very straight but This is the first time I agree with you buddy.
I thought the Hulk was 6'4" or 6'5" but somewhere along the line I heard something that he was around 6'3". I wasn't sure because I was led to believe Arnold was 6'2". After being convinced that Arnold was no taller than six foot and a half inches, 6'3.
In the pictures where u have a height scale superimposed on your photo with that of a celebrity, in those pictures Well is that measurement from the ground and including shoes? Would that mean that while wearing shoes you are about 5 foot 8. That is surprising. Because lou looked like he would be able to have his hair touch about 6 foot 4 or 4. I saw his pictures with david hasselhoff n both were wearing similar shoes but david possibly had half inch on him.
Though lou is a bit slouched as compared to david. But strangely for some reason david doesnt seem a full 6 4 often. He looked more like 6 2. So yes.. But please do reply to my question. In sneakers I am anywhere from 5ft 8. Clear height difference between the two. Now cm check video Click Here. I think Lou slouch a little but yes he look shorter than zachary by about one good inch imo.
Your second pic don't work. Google lists Levi's height as 1. Levi definitely was taller than Ferrigno in that episode as you can see here. Click Here Click Here. He looks same range as dwayne did and new photo with teump he looks a couple cm taller. More than joke at 6foot4 peak. I've seen all of their movies! In my opinion, Lou's peak height was: 6' And Arnold's height: 6' Wow in that pic with john Elway, Lou only looks 5' Those'd be quite some lifts.
Here's a picture of Eaton for comparison. I think he is max today but probably could be close to Maybe we could argue but I think out of bed "ish" and at his lowest peak.
I think people who look at him now and say 6'2'' aren't seeing the younger and probably taller Lou. He may well have been close to 6'5'' in his youth. Scott A. Probably 6'3" flat back in the day. Arnold in his peak days hit 6 foot and quarter inch nothin over.
This is the truth. I think Nobody has ever called Dorian Yates's height into question - the man was a solid 5' Lou's height is apparent next to him, and he was well into his 40s at this point. Cannot believe Rob has the 6'4" listing--what a joke. I think he was a solid 6'4 at Nowdays he is around Have him by an inch in person. They inflated his height to 6'5" to accommodate Arnold's inflation.
I only realize now that he was probably hunching over to seem smaller so the children would not be scared. He appeared about 5'8, but based on these reports I think he was trying to seem small.
He is an amazing role-model, so kind and open, and it is heartwarming to see him interact with children. Ali Baba also said he looked 6'2" when they met. I'm 6'2 and he was the same height me.
So I would only say 6'3 peak. Lou could be just 6'2 nowadays. Six foot five was the tale and I don't think he would have tried it if it weren't true, because one of the other competitors was a powerlifter named Bruce Wilhelm, who claimed six foot four. I can't see a six foot four man letting another man who was only six foot four claim an phantom inch, so Wilhelm would have called him on it if it had been a lie.
Lou is quite clearly a couple of inches taller on this photograph. When I see people taller than me and they tell me their heights, it's probably less than one inch but it looks huge, that should tell you how significant is an inch really. H Not he claimed 6'5. Lou Ferrigno look 6'2.
Not sure if Ferrigno was still 6'2. Respond me please I really want to know? Schwarzenegger towerd over competitors who most of them were 5'6"-5'8" cm. This is the problem. Stop with this comedy on ferrigno and schwarzenegger overstimated heights.
We are tired. He was described as 6'5, which seemed extremely tall to me at the time but, even back then, he never gave a really tall impression on the show.
Before I was into double figures I had a fascination with height. I really doubted he was his listed height back then. I just watched an episode of the hulk and there were crowd scenes in New York with Lou running through the people. Even with helpful camera angles he only looks a little taller than most of the crowd. I also saw that he is not barefoot in tbe hulk, he wears some kind of footwear and you can see the flat sneaker-type sole from behind.
At a guess I would have estimated him as a weak 6'2 during the series. In the early s, Ferrigno returned to bodybuilding, competing for the and Mr. Olympia titles. Finishing 12th and 10th, respectively, he then turned to the Masters Olympia, where his attempt to beat Robbie Robinson and Boyer Coe was the subject of the documentary Stand Tall.

They have three children, Shanna, born ; Louis, Jr. Louis, Jr. He currently plays a recurring role in the TV series S. Ferrigno competed in the first annual World's Strongest Man competition in , where he finished fourth in a field of eight competitors.
Despite the fact that they were rarely on camera together, Ferrigno and Bill Bixby — who played the Hulk's "normal" alter ego — became friends; Ferrigno has described Bixby as a "mentor" and "father figure" who took him under his wing. Ferrigno also singles out the instances in which Bixby directed Ferrigno in some episodes as particularly memorable. Ferrigno continued playing the Hulk role until —although the last two episodes were not broadcast until May During competition, Ferrigno at 6 ft 4 in 1.
Early in his career he lived in Columbus, Ohio and trained with Arnold Schwarzenegger. In , he came in second on his first attempt at the Mr. Olympia competition.
