Where is moderation in the bible
Calmness of mind; equanimity; as, to bear prosperity or adversity with moderation. Moderation; particularly, habitual moderation in regard to the indulgence of the natural appetites and passions; restrained or moderate indulgence; as temperance in eating and drinking; temperance in the indulgence of joy or mirth.
Let your moderation be known unto all men. Those things, which ye have both learned,. But I rejoiced. I want to be the best child of God, wife, mom, and homeschool teacher possible. I often look to the place in scripture where it talks of the fruits of the Spirit. I read it and examine myself and ask, am I producing these fruits? If not, why not?? Nothing else that I desire to accomplish will matter, if I am not bearing these fruits.

But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. We all need rest, but too much sleep is sinful and disgraceful. A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest, and poverty will come upon you like a robber, and want like an armed man. Do not live like those who are not wise, but live wisely. Use every chance you have for doing good, because these are evil times. So do not be foolish but learn what the Lord wants you to do.
Do not be drunk with wine , which will ruin you, but be filled with the Spirit. Romans The night is nearly over, day is almost here. Let us stop doing the things that belong to the dark, and let us take up weapons for fighting in the light. Let us conduct ourselves properly, as people who live in the light of day—no orgies or drunkenness, no immorality or indecency, no fighting or jealousy.
