How do eagles renew their youth

2022.01.07 19:44

As we are in continuous relationship with God, our spiritual youth vitality is continually being renewed by him, allowing us to continue to soar with Him. Our relationship does not grow old and frayed and worthless. If we are in relationship with Him our spiritual enthusiasm will constantly be renewing. This does require the letting go of those things feathers that have competed their usable lifespan and embracing the new revelations from God that will continue to allow us to soar with renewed spiritual fervor, so that we continue to draw nearer to Him.

Thanks Lee. I have been compiling a record of birds I have seen in and around my garden and will look at your other bird links. I have long been meaning to research the story about the eagle and this morning discovered your article right at the start of my search.

Thank you, it has been most insightful. I am just thinking that he satisfies our mouth with good satisfying food and as a result, our youth is renewed. I am old and wanting my youth renewed,I have a reason for waiting to walk through those gorgeous pearly gates. I I have been taught that waiting on the Lord is an active waiting in prayer. I have enjoyed all these thoughtful comments. I am going to publish a book and it would like to use one of your pictures as a cover.

Therefore, I would like to kindly ask you if you would agree to provide this particular pictures in a better quality. Let us look at our own transformation. As you get older in life, does your body not change? Our transformation can be related to the eagle. Keep having faith, love in your heart, be kind to others, smile, do good works, walk like you are on a run way, let others know your JOY! Phyllis A. Thanks for your additional thoughts. I know about the body transforming as I age.

Thanks for your remarks. The Father reveals Himself through His Word and helps us regain our strength. He keeps me going as I age, but the new body parts come from transplants and medical wonders. One day when we get to heaven, we will get a new changed body. Good morning Lee…great article! I have been saying this scripture for a long time…and early this morning God gave me a revelation about this verse.

God told me that the good things that He satisfies your mouth with is… revealed knowledge or a Rhema word… a word straight from him. He said that he has already built into the human body the ability to renew or restore itself, such as when we burn or cut ourselves.

But since we are really Spirit beings having an human experience, we have the ability to confess to greater opportunties such as renewing a decaying body. I know that this sounds way out there or tooooo good to be true, but I have a personal relationship with the Father and know His voice. Blessings to you! Jesus is the High Priest of our confession!

James states that if we control out tongue, then we are able to control our whole body!!! So, believe on sister! Keep speaking and keep believing and watch what He will do! Because God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we can think, I believe God can renew our youth lke the eagles— restore our physical bodies as well as our spirtual selves. Nothing is impossible with God — only believe. So if we believe that Jesus is the same today, yesterday, and forever, then any part of our physical bodies can be restored to its youth.

Blessed be God who alone does wondrous things. Just me trying to keep the faith : Mary Threadgill Bush. I also believe that God will renew our bodies also. I have had several dreams about this , that I could not have thought up on my own to show me this was possible. Have been under a lot of stress that I know is not of God and this article and all the responses have been such a blessing.

I have read some about the eagle and the myths that do not seem right. Your article was refreshing and cause for thought. I love the word and know our God has all the answers to all things.

So I stay in the word and love to hear when others respond to His love. God bless! Ruth Thanks for the article. Our great God our every step and when we are in very difficult situations and feel like we are heading to the ground God is always there to save us. Lets trust him with all we have. Thank you much for your article. I have attended a conference recently and they shared about the eagle renewal per Ps. I have been so fascinated with that story.

I remembered to research it and here your article is so full for me. I literally believe that God renews our youth as we align our hearts and minds with His Word. Joy to you, Maia. Eagles beak is being broken and new beak grows. When in your youth if your are broken completely by the Word of God your youth is renewed or new life starts in Jesus Christ. Pl read Psa May God bless you. Psa The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

May we all have that kind of a spirit and heart. Thanks, Vijay. Hi Lee, I also I had to research the matter when I read the story about the eagle plucking out its beak and then talons and finally feathers — yet again! And so I found your blog! I am also thrilled someone is looking into the matter and researching it.

In the meantime, we can believe it! Thanks for being investigative and for stopping by. However, I believe in a healing Jesus! I quoted those verses in Psalm to my wife.

We have both experienced miracles and expect another one. We recalled some wonderful teachings on the eagle, so to the computer we went to see what Google might turn up. One conclusion you have all come to: God does renews our youth!

God bless you for the article, and everyone else for the replies. Very thoughtful. In the trials of life, always remember our wonderful Jesus. Oh what a Savior! Will be praying that everything works out okay. We know the Lord already knows all about it and what the outcome will be. Lord Bless you both. And today I did. Well, even though the results are kind of vague and inconclusive, I am delighted to be part of the dialogue. So, thanks, all, for enlivening my afternoon.

God help us. Yes, there are those of us out here who do Love the Lord. Thanks for stopping and leaving a reply.

Psalm , NIV. Thanks, David, I will add a link to that article on that. Might make for another interesting article later. I changed the title, but was told by the photographer that it was a juvenile Bald Eagle. The Golden Eagle and the young Bald look very similar. This bird has more yellow in the eye than a Golden, but It is only one photo. Wish more have been photographed.

An old Indian folktale I heard was that strange things happen to eagles at times and they become depressed. There is nothing physically wrong with them; they do not know why. When they are depressed like that they do not want to eat, fly or do anything and if they stay in that depressed condition they will die.

The most amazing thing happens at times when other eagles see the depressed eagle just sitting there ready to die. Some of the eagles will tear meat from a prey they have caught with the blood dripping down, and they will fly over the depressed eagle so that they will catch a new scent of life. My sole desire as a follower of Christ is to fulfill the 2 greatest commandments in my life…..

With love and respect, Marge. Thanks, Marge, for commenting and for the folktale. It is very interesting. This world is always going to present challenges, but we have a Saviour who can, if we let Him, help us out of our situations and so much more. With love to you also, Lee. The eagle in Hebrew is also metaphoric and symbolic of God. God created mankind in His own image.

It is Life in the image and likeness of God. God created us perfect as the Father is perfect. That is our original state and that is what is renewed. Foolishness passes away as wisdom is renewed and increases. Immaturity passes away as maturity is renewed and increases.

I just wanted to comment as I was looking thru this reasearch on Eagles. My interest in it was because God had placed a burden in my heart to do a Conference or Bible study on restoration in what at one point or another as Christians find ourselves in that situation. At this it can be very painful when we go thru this process because I believe that God is maturing us at this point.

The eagles maturity process is so much in comparison to ones Christians walk. I know for a fact that when Isaiah was speaking he had to use the eagle according to ones own experiences the Bible is full of ones own experiences.

I have a question, do you think perhaps that as the eagle matures its already being in a painful process thru out the first few weeks and yrs of its life just cause of all its changes so rapidly and short time.

Its just like a woman going thru menopause everything changes from inside out and is a very hard and emotional process that one has to face.

And that also happens at an older age when going thru that they also go back to feeling younger and dressing younger at times. Perhaps Isaiah seen something in the eagle that we or researchers will never know it also could of been a vision from God.

God works are mysteries and of course he never makes a mistake. Waiting talks of an activity as being carried out by an Eagle prior to its renewal. It is not an automatic process that comes with aging as your article suggests. When we wait on the lord as a self chosen activity, we allow the Lord to satisfy our mouth with good things or in other words to fill our mouth with abundance of life, remember the power of life and death are in the tongue mouth then our youth is renewed like that of the eagle as we speak wholsome words in confessions, prayers and declarations.

Please keep up the good work and do update us with findings of your further researc. For me this article is nice in that it gives some description of the process of the Eagles life. However this does not answer the question for me based on the following points. There is some nice information in the article about the myths and the actual aging that Eagles go through.

I wonder if there was a commonly held true — belief about Eagles in the times of Isaiah or the psalmist for why the analogy would be used. I believe that there has to be a truthful reference to something more than the stages of life as it deals specifically with the youth being renewed. Perhaps something modern researchers have yet to discover, and of course it would not be the first time that has happened!

Thanks, Ken for leaving some thoughts on the eagle. Will have to research further on Old World eagles. The idea of their beaks falling off is mainly what I was questioning. We will never know all about the eagles, only their Creator knows that, but we keep trying to learn as much as is possible.

I love your article, but I did have one question. I love learning, and I would appreciate any comments. Thanks for your time. At least not that I found. Thanks for the post. I was becoming dismayed that there were so many other posts out there that put up myth for fact and bore relation to observational science.

It would seem that the myth of the eagle going to a solitary place, moulting and smashing its beak and talons has a medieval origin. There are other ancient accounts of what people though happened to eagles — often looking for the explanation of various biblical passages in the imagination of the writers than from life.

Unfortunately it has become a self perpetuating chain of evidence, each writer quoting the other to back up their, unfortunately, false evidence. I am glad to find someone else who has the desire and actually takes the time to do the research. Peace and grace to you, Brian. Thank,s Brian, for the comment. We are trying to back up our words with truth.

I struggled with that article, because of so many using the same info. We Want America Back! And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: Philippians It has been scientifically proven that fear and unforgiveness damage the brain. On top of that, fear and unforgiveness have been linked to countless diseases. So, eat right, exercise, obey God and walk in love.

Have you said those words—about creaking joints, a sore back, forgetting things or not seeing as clearly? I am so healthy and strong. Throw off the garment of aging, feeling and acting old. Throw it off! The Healer is here.

You can be 95 years old, and see and hear as well as you ever have, walk as well as you ever have, take care of yourself and be independent just as you always have. If you want to live, you have to choose life. To choose life, you choose God. To choose God, you have to choose His words and do things His way. Your youth will be renewed! All Rights Reserved. During this period, it will become like an ugly lump of flesh. After five months of going through this process of renewal, it comes out of its nest to make its first flight and live for the rest of its lifespan.

We need to occasionally shed off our old lifestyles, old habits, old thinking patterns and wait in the presence of the Lord to go a long way in our lives. Even the Bible certifies this fact. You may be going through painful situations in life. Many things might have been stripped away from your life. But remember, God wants to give you new strength and take you to a new height. God is not cruel towards you. He is not deaf to your prayers. Isaiah — See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?

I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. You are called to be an eagle. Never live a chicken or turkey life. You are meant to fly with other eagles. God just like a mamma eagle is training us. He is never cruel to you. He has beautifully arranged all the phases of your life. Watch full sermon here: About the Author.

An eagle can see things clear many miles away. An eagle can see through the dark and even underwater. It has a built-in telescope in its eyes. It eats only fresh food. It overcomes all kinds of obstacles. It can fly high above every obstacle — trees, skyscrapers, rain clouds, mountains. It escapes hunters. It rarely falls prey to a hunter. It shifts the battleground to defeat the enemy. It can look straight into the sun and fly. Colossians 9.
