Which hedonism resort is best
So glad I went!!! This vacation was all about being taken care of, and I was totally!! The food was fresh and delicious, the service at dining at at the bars was always friendly and warm. Even the beach attendants were always warm and cheery. This is the second time I have come to Jamaica and have fallen in love with it all over again! The service at the bars, room cleaning, bellhop, dining areas, security and especially "Marshall", the main-pool Life Guard, who took the time to make sure everyone was comfortable, had their water, or had that extra towel.
I will always remember them. I would have liked the Nude Side to have stayed to their side. Also the dining areas require some clothing on The only drawback. Hedonism must be a Jamaican word for party. The chefs at Hedo have gone all out to make the food at the buffet delicious. Did i say party? If you would rather have a fine dining experience there is Pastaferi's.
The best entertainment staff we have encountered. Should you prefer to be entertained during your dinner there is Harrysan. This was our sixth time and yet we have not been disappointed.
Worst All Inclusive. C Chang , Toronto, ON. There's no water no drink provided in the fridge cause they expect you to buy from gift shop. On the prude side it is a ghost town. Beach is ugly on the prude side. Bathroom is the smallest even compare to NYC or Japan.
If you want to call front desk, you have to expect they will hang up on you. You have to keep trying. Bathroom only fits one person. Dirty environment gives me rashes everyday. Ian Morris , Mississauga, ON. Rest assured that the new management is indeed improving an already wonderful resort! Kudos to the maintenance staff!
The entertainment was top notch, another noticeable improvement. You won't be disappointed! We plan to go as often as we can! Three times wasn't a charm. Annie Breeze , Kahnawake, QC.
It was our third visit, it was a flop. When we arrived they were overbooked so we were given a temporary room so we couldn't settle in. Once we got settled in our own room, for three days we had no water and no air conditioning.
All they could offer us was their apologies. Had some issues with the room not being ready and it appeared they may have been overbooked according to other guests. The staff and entertainment was excellent. The majority of people we met were also great however, there is a notable presence of arrogance by seasoned guests, therefore; be careful trying to secure a seating position on the beach or around the pool because your belongings may disappear.
And just a note, you can probably save a bundle on this trip by booking the prude side which is clothing optional. Overall, it was fun and we'd do it again. Great place. Loretta Ee , Catalone, NS. Pleasantly Surprised and Amazing People. Georges Hall , Scarborough, ON. So I'm a Naturist, travelling solo Figured Hedo II would be a good place to visit and figured I'd simply lie around and relax While relaxing for certain, it's not a place to just lie around The folks who go there, as well as the staff are the most welcoming and friendly people I've ever had the pleasure to come across Just need to be open to talking to everyone, respect each person without reservations and be open to new experiences or not and you'll have a great time without question.
Thanks Hedo and Staff for a memorable experience and I look forward to my return. Rooms and bathroom are currently lacking.. Had issues with hot water being, way too hot in the shower; but I'm looking forward to the renovations that are well underway.
Hedo 2. Mat B. All and all, we had an amazing time! First time there and not our last for sure! We met really friendly people! Only bad comment would be that the beach is not that amazing..
Hedo II. The Hotel is a bit dated, but upgrades are in progress and overall experience more than makes up for it. Nov Dec 06, Marina , Mississauga, ON. Best vacations ever. Nice to be home. David Stables , Burlington, ON. Health and safety Safe. Family friendly Complimentary breakfast. Show all 41 amenities. Reviews of Hedonism II Resort. Sort by: Newest first.
Pros: The entertainment selections are always a plus. You can tell there have been upgrades to the food. The fitness activities available were also a positive.
Pros: Been there 8 times and it is getting better with the new management. Entertainment has really stepped up. Not for everyone. Pros: Hedo II is located in Negril. Love the location and the beach. Nude beach is very relaxing. Great employees - excellent customer service. Very Friendly to everyone. Breakfast is the best meal of the day. Good alcohol selection. Week we were there was pretty mellow for the place.
No official Lifestyle groups were there, but plenty of people still having sex right in front of you, If that bothers you, then this is not the place for you. I am not in the Lifestyle and was not offended. They are friendly but not pushy. I have been there several times and will go back again.
My husband and I enjoy it. Pros: The room that we stayed in two months ago was definitely much better. It had a beautiful set up with LED lighting, a rain shower and all upgraded amenities including a balcony.
The room this time was outdated big time. Although it still served it's purpose as we didn't spend too much time in the room. We still appreciated the updated room much more. All in all. This was our second trip here within three months. The staff was outstanding. Does the Hedonism II Resort offer any special tours or excursions? Jamaica reopened its borders on June 15 after closing in March, and the Jamaican government currently requires all potential visitors to register on the Visit Jamaica website for a mandatory travel authorization. The island recently updated its rules on Covid testing for arrivals from locations with widespread infection.
Effective August 20, arrivals ages 12 and over from the United States, Brazil, the Dominican Republic and Mexico are required to submit proof of a negative Covid PCR test from an accredited lab ordered within 10 days before arrival on the island to receive travel authorization and to show the test documentation again upon arrival. This list is subject to review and change. At Jamaica's three international airports in Montego Bay, Ocho Rios and Kingston, health screenings, risk assessments and temperature checks on arrival determine whether visitors require a Covid test onsite or can proceed directly to their hotel.
The "prude" pool at Hedonism II, where bathing suits are optional. Visitors staying at hotels and resorts within Jamaica's two "tourism corridors" denoted by the government are required to stay on property for the duration of their stay.
Tourism is Jamaica's No. White did not respond directly to questions about close contact at a resort known to attract swingers. We have been able to ensure all our workers in the industry are properly trained in the protocol. Jamaica has seen more than 56, arrivals from international visitors since the country reopened on June 15, according to tourism metrics shared with CNN.

Some Hedonism II repeat guests are rethinking their plans. For a better understanding of how guests considering visiting the resort during the ongoing pandemic were weighing their options, I joined a closed Facebook group with nearly 15, members to ask for insight from people who had visited Hedonism II since reopening or have upcoming trips planned.
I spoke with 10 guests, four of whom have visited the resort since July 1. The general consensus from the people I talked to who'd been to the resort since it reopened was that while things have changed, in keeping with Covid times, guests are being left to make their own decisions about how to play safely, should they choose to do so.
Gordon, who is using a pseudonym all of the guests I spoke to agreed to pseudonyms or first names only , was at the property on opening day and is a friend of Lange's. Performers at Hedonism II, seen in a pre-pandemic photo, are now required to wear masks.
Together with his wife, Mallory also not her real name , 36, Gordon hosts a podcast, Casual Swinger the two honeymooned at Hedonism II 10 years ago and are "in the lifestyle". Cheryl, 59, a massage therapist from the Pacific Northwest, told me she plans to visit the resort again this December with a man she met last year while vacationing during her first visit to Hedonism II. And while she says she's plenty comfortable with the nudity and public sex that's common at the resort, Cheryl said she is "not unconcerned about the implications of vacationing in the midst of a pandemic.
I don't want to potentially import Covid to spend a week at Hedo. Some visitors seek more reassurance before 'playing with others'. Many of the resort's repeat guests I was in contact with -- whether they're in the lifestyle, nudists or simply folks looking for a different kind of tropical vacation -- told me the nonjudgmental environment and diversity of people from all walks of life entices them to consider vacations at Hedonism II, even during a global pandemic.
The most transformative moments they shared, it turned out, rarely had anything to do with sex— but had everything to do with people accepting themselves and others exactly as they are, while perhaps pushing their own personal boundaries a bit, too. Past guests mentioned the good friends they'd made on vacation, many of whom they maintain contact with many years later. Rigorous sanitation is part of the resort's "Party Safely" policies for the pandemic.
Regarding the couple's next trip, Brent said, "We're holding off booking until we feel comfortable with the protocols with regards to testing, tracing and enforcement. Subdued party vibe.
