Where to find rubbish in dark souls

It's drifting items from other world's I think. Drift item. If it's left alone it'll eventually turn into a Vagrant. It happens when a player drops a specific item in their world and leaves it be. It'll appear in another players world and I think after 10 trips it spawns a Vagrant. Evil Vagrants spawn if you lose a bloodstain with more than 5 humanity on it.
