How many darkmoon faire tickets in a week
Or, sit and ask myself "why did i not use these? Comment by QuickBASIC Even if you done the primary profession quests that week, if you drop a profession during Darkmoon Faire week, you can do the quests for the profession that you pick up as well. Even rewarding the achievement Faire Favors without completing one of the secondary skill quests such as Archaeology or Fishing.
Possibly means that if your toon has no professions you could conceivably do the quest for every primary profession each month, awarding you with 36 Darkmoon Prize Tickets instead of just 8. Assuming you're willing to get each profession to 75 and really really want the tickets right meow.
Comment by Stupid question, are they soulbound! I'd like to give 'm to an alt. Comment by FrostbornDwarf Here's a handy tip. Create a text document on your computer or calendar in the format of a quest tracker for each date of the week the Darkmoon Faire is here.
Display all the weekly objectives on a separate place, and then all the daily tasks. Then each day, just do them and check them off your calendar. This helps to get all Darkmoon tickets a month, which is really essential for going for the high-end items that cost a lot of tickets, like the mounts, vanity pets, or replica sets. Comment by FrostbornDwarf Here's a sample format I use Comment by Damonra Does anyone know what the limit is on how many tickets 1 toon can have at once?
My shaman currently has This adds up to an extra 35 tickets every Darkmoon Faire, as the quest is a daily. Note: This daily is only completable one time a day per account , so make sure you complete it on the character that you're collecting tickets on.
Comment by voodoopimp It doesn't seem to have been mentioned specifically, but with the extra tickets from the pet battles it's now possible to get tickets on one character per week, which is just enough to get one of the mounts the most expensive prizes.
Pre characters can get up to tickets, unfortunately not quite enough for the 2h heirlooms. Try buying the quest items either in the middle of a month, or in the middle of the faire week. Comment by McGrignr For those using every alt available to buy lots of Darkmoon items in a week, keep this in mind. I used all 11 characters I had on a server to save up tickets for and buy most of the heirlooms I was missing during one Darkmoon week, and then I had the idea to save up for and buy replica Lightforge for my panda warrior the following month, because nostalgia or something.
I got enough on my level 90 shaman and 65 DK to buy a few pieces, then I go to my 42 warlock to buy another piece: "You must be level 54 to purchase this item.
Not having the requisite armor proficiency isn't a problem my mail-wearing shaman could purchase the plate armor just fine , but being too low a level is, even if it's not intended for use on the particular alt with the tickets that's doing the purchase.
So, basically, you need alts to be at least level to purchase pieces of replica Dungeon Set 1 armor, and at least level 60 to purchase replica Dungeon Set 2. This obviously doesn't apply to buying heirlooms, as they're all usable from level 1. I presume the mounts would require level 20, but if you're stockpiling tickets on one alt, they're most likely that far along anyway.
Comment by stickshift I had some old mail, plate and weap heirlooms sitting in banks that I had no reason to burn these "upgrade-to" tickets on since my wearers were all lvl Glad I hung on to them because Blizz recently gave the go-ahead for us to mail BoA stuff to characters in other realms horde or alliance! So if you've been stockpiling Prize Tickets you can bump your BoA's to 85 and mail them cross-realm in the following manner; toonsname-realmname note the dash My Crusader enchant stuck on my Hardened Arcanite Reaper after I mailed it, but I can't speak for the transmog I would imagine you lose that.
If you forget to enchant your stuff before mailing to your tiny toons, just send it back. Make sure that you Upgrade before you Enchant or else you'll lose the enchant. This seems almost too good to be real, but there ya are. Comment by lecanard2 i get these ticks like a kid just opened the machine at chucke cheese, any currensy out there you know canard got it, full set of darkmoon cards from ,hmu.
Comment by Patrick43 So we can't combine all tickets from all your toons and give them to one? They also can be stored in personal bank or a guild bank until next months 'faire. Mail the 'boxes' to one Char. Shift click to see what is in the Game Prize without opening it. Sadly the Darkmoon Faire had just ended 20 minutes prior :.
Comment by nirv I don't get it. But on my main character it auto loots the Darkmoon Prize contents whether I'm holding shift or not, whether I delete the WTF folder, or even when I remove all addons, yet it isn't behaving that way on two of my alts despite the same settings. I can't pinpoint why it's behaving this way. I want to open the prizes one by one and send any experience buff items to alts but it just keeps auto looting no matter what I do and I don't know how to fix it.
It didn't do this last month when Darkmoon Faire was opened last. What the hell changed and how do I fix it? Edit: I see what happened. Blizzard changed something between the last Darkmoon and this one because I used to be able to open the prizes without pulling out the Darkmoon ticket but now, even when holding shift, it will pull the ticket out and add it to your currency automatically.
If there is an additional item in the container and you're holding shift, it will consume the ticket but leave the other item in the container.
It didn't do that before. Why would you do this? Because the prize box itself is not BoP, so it is tradable. One of my prizes had a Darkmoon Balloon in it so I traded it to my cousin and he was able to add it to his pet list without a problem.
Comment by Aaahead If you're looking to turn Darkmoon Prize Ticket s into gold, you should buy either transmog armor or pets to sell on the auction house or directly to other players. Darkmoon Prize Tickets.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. To hopefully clear up some of the confusion over time investment vs reward costs we've broken down exactly how many tickets you can obtain in a single Darkmoon Faire week. The design intent of the Darkmoon Faire is that it's available for one week out of the month, and in that one week we expect you to be able to obtain a significant amount of tickets.
To clarify the OP's point of how long it would take to obtain an entire set of cosmetic gear, the math presented was incorrect, and it would in fact only take 4 Darkmoon Faire weeks to complete an entire set. That's of course still no quick task, and the intent is not for it to be.
