The area is called Reliquary of Pain. My problem was the Reliquary of Pain extends over to the far south and with my setting you can not see Algar the Chosen from that point. Not one hit point. I took Gymer all the way down to death twice: same result both times. Targeting also seems to get screwy while on Gymer. Before reaching Algar, hitting my hotkey to target nearest enemy tab in my case for one entire ride on Gymer would pick up no targets. Mouse clicking on screen could pick up targets, but since you can barely see anything from atop the giant, that is a horrible way to target and is slow even when you can see.

Same issues with finding seeing stormclouds, and targeting them. Really not liking this quest! Comment by you have to be on the giant to even see this opponent. If you aren't using the giant you don't get credit for the kill. Comment by First, mount up on Algar, then head to the indicated place. You will see the target flying slowly, so just walk up to him, mouse click him, and start the SLOW process of beating him down.

I stink at these types of quests and I got Algar down first try. Comment by Smash, shout, smash and smash until yellow is empty. Grab and run until yellow is filled up, stop and toss. When Algar comes close start smashing again.

So smash and run and smash until Algar is dead. Comment by i am having trouble getting credit for the kill of this guy. Health is not an issue as there are these lightning balls moving around on the ground and if u use grab on one it restores ur hp.

Comment by blutygrlilly This was the worst quest ever. I did this run 5 times - was able to kill the prince np and np with finding Thrym. How in the world are you supposed to kill Algar? I really don't want to spend all my toon time trying to figure it out.
