Billie took Chelsea in and took care of her, then found out that she was Billie and Bo's daughter, Georgia. Chelsea was a bad girl, and hated Billie for the longest time. They've since bonded, and Billie has seen her daughter through some extremely stormy issues.

Billie had an affair with Patrick Lockhart, and although they're now just friends, she resided in his house with him, Chelsea, and his mother, Bonnie Lockhart. During this time, Chelsea had been trying to get Bo and Billie back together. During some difficult times when Bo and Hope's son Zack died, Billie was there for her old friend and things turned romantic. While Bo and Hope were separated, Bo and Billie had sex.

They soon realized that they were better off as friends, much to Chelsea's chagrin. Billie and Bo would go through many more issues with Chelsea. When she was found out to have been the one to be driving the car that ran over Zack, Billie's first instinct was to protect her and lie for her.

However, eventually it all came out that Chelsea was driving the car that hit Zack, her half-brother and she did community service. Billie stuck by her daughter through her difficult relationship with Max Brady, while Billie started to date Steve Patch Johnson.

Chelsea didn't want Billie with Steve, and eventually Steve regained his memory he was amnesic and went back to Kayla. Billie thought she was being given one more shot at happiness and was devastated when she was turned down by Steve. She turned to the bottle and smoking one night, and wound up having sex with Nick Fallon Chelsea's friend and learned to regret it immediately.

She turned to Bo for help, and he reassured her that it wasn't the end of the world and would probably give the younger man a confidence lift. He took Billie to an AA meeting. Nick and Chelsea started a romantic relationship so when Chelsea found out about Billie and Nick's one night affair she broke up with Nick and resented Billie.

Billie's career took a shift when she developed a security system and proposed her business idea to EJ Wells, but Lucas warned her not to do business with EJ. She eventually got a job at Salem University as the head of security, and fixed her relationship with Chelsea.

At Salem University, Billie feared for Chelsea's safety after the news that several rape crimes had been taking place. Chelsea confessed to her mom that she and her sorority sisters enticed Ford Decker a male student accused of the rapes to their sorority house where he ended up dead after falling down the stairs. Victor helped get the charges against Chelsea dropped, but Billie was fired from the University. Billie thought that if Bo learned the truth, he wouldn't love her.

But Bo had fallen in love with Billie and was determined to prove that she was innocent. Billie and Austin were both shocked when they learned Kate was married to Curtis Reed.

Eventually Billie admitted that Curtis was her father. Stefano DiMera had killed Curtis in self-defense and framed Billie. Billie was let go and Bo told her that he loved her no matter what. Billie and Austin were also reunited with Kate, the mother they thought abandoned them. Kate told them that Curtis had taken them from her and she believed they had all been killed in a car crash.

Bo and Billie tried to marry on New Year's Day, but the "Desecrator" struck and a falling chandelier almost killed them. They tried again, but learned that they could not marry if there was any chance that a lady by the name of Gina turned out to be Hope Brady.

In order to help them, Gina signed a paper declaring that Hope was dead and Bo and Billie were finally married. When Gina was eventually proven to be Hope, Billie realized that Bo had not given his marriage to Hope a fair shot, so she left Salem in to let them be together.

Krista Allen Billie returned a year later in and moved into the Kiriakis Mansion. She began to date Franco Kelly, which upset Bo. Bo insisted Franco was dangerous, but Hope accused him of being jealous. Hope grew fed up with Bo's obsession with Franco and told Bo that she couldn't marry him if he still had feelings for Billie. Billie, meanwhile, discovered that she was pregnant with Bo's child. Bo told her that he would be there for her and the baby.

She followed Bo and Hope to New Orleans and then into the bayou where she went into labor. Her baby girl, who she named Georgia, was stillborn. Bo helped Billie get over the loss of their baby; however, he told her that he still loved Hope and wanted to make a life with her. Billie was outraged and left town again in Lisa Rinna's return Hope's disdain for Billie only grew over time.

When Billie returned to Salem in and joined the police force, it only got worse. Billie swore her motives were pure and not to create more trouble for Bo and Hope. She had a short-lived relationship with Jack Deveraux that never really got off the ground. Hope, looking for Bo, arrived in time to witness the close encounter and jumped to the wrong conclusion. Upset, she calls off the wedding, much to Bo's despair, and he vows to get Hope back.

Billie soon discovered that Bo was going undercover in an effort to expose and bring down drug lord J. King in Feb Billie gets in over her head with JL King and was forced to play along as Bo's girlfriend or risk Bo getting killed. They were also forced to keep up their ruse in front of Hope, otherwise their cover would be blown.

Bo reminds Billie that he only sees her as a friend and Hope is the only woman he loves. Bo and Billie were forced to travel to Rome with King, where he had arranged a wedding for them to test them. Coincidentally, Hope and Franco were also in Rome during that time and King invited them to the ceremony. To prove loyalty to JL, Bo agreed. The wedding went off without a hitch, to Billie's delight and Hope's devastation.

King was arrested in Rome soon afterwards. One of his goons, Max, kidnapped Billie and tied her to a bed where he injected her with heroin and other drugs. While under the influence, she saw visions of her dead father Curtis, who tormented her. Bo found Billie and saved her from becoming hooked on drugs again. Bo, believing Hope had moved on and no longer loved him anymore, made love to Billie.

As a result of their lovemaking, Billie discovered she was pregnant. Despite Billie's pregnancy and his commitment to be there for the baby, he still longed for Hope and told Billie this. Billie taunted Hope about her and Bo being lovers in Rome, even though she knew Bo really only loved Hope.

Hope began looking for her missing years as Gina and Bo started helping her. Bo and Hope begin to reconcile. When she was around five months into her pregnancy, she followed Bo and Hope to New Orleans and was accosted by two young men.

As a result, Billie went into premature labor and gave birth to a stillborn daughter, whom she named Georgia. She buried her daughter in the swamp. Hope's disdain for Billie only grew over time. When Billie returns to Salem in and joins the police force, it only gets worse.

However, she can't stand seeing what this was doing to Bo and when she goes to stand up against Larry, he shoots her. Fortunately she survives and leaves Salem when she is released from the hospital in early to join the ISA in London. When the Salem stalker murders began she has a message for Bo saying she knows who the killer is but she goes missing along that same time.

When Bo helps rescue the victims of the Salem Stalker, he bumps into Billie on the mysterious island. Together they help rescue the others, and upon their return to Salem, Billie makes the shocking discovery that their daughter Georgia, who she thought had died in childbirth, is still alive.

When Chelsea's adoptive parents are killed in a car accident, Billie reveals the truth and has Chelsea move in with her. Hope is not thrilled by yet another link between Billie and Bo, but tries to remain supportive.

However, when Bo and Hope's son Zack is killed in a car accident, everyone soon learns that Chelsea was the driver, and thus responsible. Billie is desperate to protect Chelsea and Bo is torn between the two women in his life. At one point, Chelsea manipulates Billie into making it appear that Bo has slept with her in a hotel and arranges for Hope to discover this truth.

Billie deeply regrets this and admitted to it in court when Hope tries to divorce Bo. Billie has repeatedly stated she believes Bo and Hope belong together and will not try to get back with Bo, against Chelsea's wishes.

Recently, she finds herself involved with another man who is not exactly available: Steve Johnson. Steve feels very pressured by Kayla's hopes that he will remember their past, and he rebels by starting to see Billie. While she is drunk, she has sex with Nick Fallon , who has developed strong feelings for her daughter Chelsea.
