Tsw where to buy weapon toolkit

2022.01.11 16:10

Players can equip two weapons at once and can swap weapons during non-combat situations; unless quest related. Characters may have 2 active weapons at a time although you may train and set skill and anima points for as many weapon types as you wish as you progress throughout the game. You will start your journey in The Secret World with your single trained weapon.

As you complete missions and win awards and take loot from your kills , you will acquire additional weapons. You will also be able to purchase basic weapons from vendors located in major cities. In order for you to fit and use any second weapon, you need to:. While you can double-click the weapon, that action may simply swap it with your existing primary weapon instead.

You will, of course, choose and develop your own form of gameplay - bold or measured, dual-skilled or multi-skilled. However, you gain SP and AP by gaining experience, and to maximize that, while minimizing down time you have by being killed, you might focus your early SP and AP on your first trained weapon.

Then you might find it effective to add a second weapon and bring that up in SP and AP. They also provide very useful situational boosts. Auxiliary weapons occupy your 8th active and passive ability slots, each Auxiliary weapon requires 35 SP to unlock and every ability requires to be unlocked in order for 50 AP each.

Auxiliary Upgrade Toolkits Rare can be found in elite dungeons Bind on Pick up or through luck upon opening Bag of Ethereal Gambit Bind on equip , which you can buy from Council Envoys in many of the Council of Venice outposts for sequins.

This upgrade kit can turn your Auxiliary weapon from green quality to rare quality blue by placing both in your crafting window. Just put both of them in the crafting window. An auxiliary weapon that has been upgraded to QL This will upgrade it to QL Unlike the Epic Auxiliary Upgrade Toolkit, the Supernal kit cannot be used to upgrade lower-tier aux weapons, such as Uncommon and Rare aux weapons. The aux weapon must have been upgraded to QL Auxiliary Weapons can be improved by adding an Auxiliary weapon specific signet.

Details about these signets can be found further in the next section of this guide. Auxiliary weapons do not carry glyph sockets, as such cannot be upgraded by adding glyphs. Introduced with Issue 2, the Rocket Launcher can be obtained through the completion of the mission Venetian Missile Crisis. Aux Weapon Augur Whenever you activate Pop Shot , the primary target receives a detrimental effect that deals physical damage after 2 seconds. Every second up to 5 enemies in the area are dealt physical damage.

Introduced with Issue 4, the Chainsaw can be obtained through the completion of the mission Just a Flesh Wound. This effect can stack up to 25 times. Introduced with Issue 5, the Quantum Brace can be obtained through the completion of the mission The Uncertainty Principle.

Aux Weapon Binding Reduces the activation time of Space by 0. Allowing you to actually have a chance to hit enemies. Introduced with Issue 6, the Whip can be obtained and made usable through special means during the Issue 6 mission line starting from the mission The City Beneath us. If you want to know how to make the Whip, refer to this guide.

Aux Weapon Augur Whenever you hit a target with Crack! Aux Weapon Binding Whenever you hit a target with Crack! Aux Weapon Seal When a target affected by Whippersnapper gets up after being knocked to the ground, they are hit an additional time dealing physical damage.

I can move my inventory and shortcuts bar, but other things like th. January 6, We had exactly the same quest and I know exactly what you mean. The guy just fucking stood there. We were trying to lead him and he just stopped. In the end we decided to leave him to his fate, and as. To be truthful though its not just one side mission that we had issues with, that was just one example. I really am trying hard to like the game, but the last 3 days I played it each long sessions of.

Seems really hard to find these bloody kits lol I guess I will just use the quest drop stuff and hope I get one drop from something as I play. I literally have no clue where most things are at the minute so I doubt I would be able to find them and get back to where I need to be all that easy.

I was hoping there was someone in Kingsmouth who I had missed but i guess not. Ah well, thanks anyway guys. While still playing in the zones and before the 'ultimate' purple gear , upgrading the green weapons is either impossible or unnecessary.

You get the actual improvement by switching to a higher-QL-green or similar-QL-blue weapons. This means replacing your weapons, rather than upgrading them. Before the upgrade-able purple gear, you can't upgrade gear.

Using crafting materials and a Weapon Toolkit , all of which you get as enemy drops Mats also come from deconstructing useless stuff. No vendor for mats or for Weapon Toolkits. The QL of the crafted weapon is determined by the QL of the Toolkit the same applies for the 'color'.

The mats are 'universal' in this context, i. However, different tiers of mats 5 in total have to be coupled with the respective QL of the Toolkit the 'color' is irrelevant in this context. The link in Spiteful's post above is a very good crafting guide there are helping plug-ins too. Lower tiers mats and green Toolkits should be cheap. All green QLs are cheap, the AH is cross-server and rich in choice, just take a pick.

I recommend this option, because the crafted weapon will need at least a glyph if not a signet as well , while the 'just some weapon' may already have the extra stats instead of the individual glyph slot.

Nevertheless, green glyphs should also be cheap. Chances are you'll advance your weapons' Skill faster than accumulating the highest tier mats, which means it's better to buy the whole green weapon right away from the AH. In other words, you'll want green QL10 before being able to craft much of QL10 things anyway. Green stuff is cheap, but mats are not because mats have other applications too - from events-related things, to other game systems.

This is pretty much all I was after. Now I have collected some I wanted to try the crafting system out more, i'm not really bothered about whether I use the weapon or not - I just wanted to test the system out some to see what I can do etc. Since the kits are a mob drop and it just isnt giving them to me at the moment then I guess I will have to wait.

I've also had a read through of the link spiteful gave too and yes its helpful, but I would still need the kits to do anything lol. LoL Intel, glad you got the answer to what you were actually asking. Took on the boss in Carnival of Souls without dying, a first for me without being over geared for it. So what the hell does QL mean anyway?

I think I've found the biggest problem with this game so far: everything is given a different name to most MMOs but they generally mean the same thing. The Quality Level reflects the advancing of your gear, which is coupled with your character's proficiency in using that gear i. Skill level. Naturally, every MMO has to offer some kind of progression. You have to do something when playing it and you have to see improvement of your character.

In this context, some form of 'leveling' always needs to be present. TSW doesn't have leveling in the typical sense. The character itself does not 'level up'. If a very advanced character is stripped from its gear, it will become the exact same thing as a new character just coming out of the intro - some basic stats with equal values for each of them. But that advanced character will still have all the traits and skills they've unlocked along the way.

Which means they aren't equal to a new character really. The levelling system just hides the number you've got but still gives you points for skills each time you fill the XP bar.
