Where is condor gear made
If you have a choice, support American companies, or expect the results for not. I've handled some of their gear. Decent at best for medium duty use. A lot of gear is made overseas nowadays so that point is moot when trying to compare quality.
Made in the USA doesn't mean what it used to either When it comes to nylon gear, quite simply, you get what you pay for. There is no 'best. Ounces equal pounds, gentlemen. Remember that. That said, Condor seems to be catering to the airsoft crowd. Quite simply excuse me if I start a firestorm here , people who don't have the means, or more likely the need, to throw out the extra cash for hard use gear.
If you ask around, you're going to get different answers from different groups of folks. Look at what your use will be. Are you in the industry? If not, is it worth dropping a couple bills on a chest rig or armor carrier when you just go to shooting classes? Not really. For the money I expected a lesser fabric and cut. I have worn these twice playing airsoft in field and forest. The first stitch on one of the pockets popped when I forced my hand in it. Other than that, I expect these to last. The fabric is a bit stiff and a bit thick, but I do not mind that because it is also tough and very protective when crawling over roots, or rough, rocky ground. I like the cut much more than the the 5. Not exactly water proof but kept me mostly dry in light rain and laying on wet earth.
The pockets are plentiful and good, bit there is too much overlap between them for my taste. They are secured by velcro or zippers except for the slash pocket, which I like. Over all I am very satisfied and I may buy another at a later date if I need a different color for an op. I am 5' 7" and wear the 30 x 30, which are true to size. Oh yeah the reinforced knees are great for crawling and kneeling.
