Who is on ufc 129 fight card

St-Pierre and Shields want this fight badly, so expect them to leave it all on the line. Randy Couture is possibly fighting his last fight against Machida. Expect him to leave nothing to chance, because he is going to want to go out on a good note. The fact that Machida is coming off of a two fight losing streak and has been on the losing end of a controversial decision against Quinton Jackson , he will probably be looking hard for the finish.

Three losses in a row can spell bad things for a fighter in the UFC. As for Matyushenko vs Brilz, both guys are good wrestlers that could very well nullify each other in the grappling aspect of the fight. Usually what happens when two guys nullify their strengths is they often end up fighting away from them, and when a wrestler is pitted against a wrestler, that usually means a slug fest.

Even if one or two of the aforementioned fights on the main card turn out to be a bit boring to some, the other fights on the main card and the under card will likely make up for it. This fight has fight of the night written all over it. Between the two, they only have nine decisions over 39 fights. Jake Shields live on April 30th. UFC St-Pierre vs Shields. Ryan Jensen. Machida will be able to keep this fight standing and Couture is much too slow to hit the ever-so-elusive, Machida. Machida is on a two-fight losing streak and could be in a do-or-die fight at UFC This fight goes the distance. Breakdown: Matyushenko will give Brilz a handful as he normally does with any fighter.

Matyushenko is a good tough fighter, a win here and he could sneak up on the UFC's light heavyweight division to give problems to its upcoming fighters. Matyushenko will give him a tough time standing, and will be able to keep the fight standing.

Breakdown: I think this one is pretty much a no-brainer seeing as Aldo holds an advantage in pretty much each area although we haven't seen all too much of his ground game. But Hominick is arguably the best striker Aldo has faced in his career. Aldo hasn't lost since , and in his first UFC title defense and UFC fight, will put on a show for the fans and retain his title.
