Search reported transactions. Search the North Carolina campaign finance database for contributions that committees have received receipts or spent expenditures , or use the advanced search to filter for various types of transactions by receipt, expenditure, committee, party, or office, as well as date ranges, job titles of contributors, etc. The campaign report search database updates overnight. Monthly reports must be filed regardless of whether the political committee accepted any contributions or expenditures during the reporting period.
A candidate who did not select modified reporting and is opposed in an upcoming election must file reports of contributions and expenditures by the 3 th day and the 8 th day before an election. Election data is captured only for general and primary elections. Consult the Campaign Finance Guides for more information regarding this requirement. Candidate and Officeholders with treasurer appointments on file must file reports of contributions and expenditures twice a year in January and July regardless of whether they accepted contributions or expenditures during the filing period.
