Why luna lovegood is best

2022.01.12 23:55

For whatever reason, Luna found all of her shoes missing, but her serene attitude about it is an intrinsic part of her personality. When the worst seems to be happening, Luna is cool and collected, which makes her so much more interesting! Girls team! The Harry Potter series is one that includes a number of strong female characters that proved to be incredible role models.

Luna Lovegood is no exception, and she proved how strong and powerful a woman can be. Luna was skilled at spells, brave enough to stand up for what she believed in, and daring enough to be different, not minding anyone's harsh criticisms of her. She was a female character that showed fans how smart and capable girls are. This Ravenclaw helped Harry find Ravenclaw's Lost Diadem and showed command when he refused to listen to her.

It was natural for her to try to make other people around her feel good and accepted, and she proved this to be true in Harry Potter and Order of the Phoenix. When Harry could see the Thestrals pulling the carriages to take the students to Hogwarts , he wasn't believed by anyone until Luna stood up for him and admitted that she too could see them.

She had no problem sounding outlandish and simply wanted Harry to feel assured that he wasn't seeing things. This kind of act was only one of the many along the same lines she made over the years.

Being different is a virtue. If there was one thing that Luna Lovegood taught fans, it was that it is okay to be yourself, and it is okay to be different. Luna never shied away from being her authentic self, even if some people didn't understand her quirks, or even mocked them.

She taught fans of Harry Potter that as long as you are being yourself and being kind, there is nothing wrong with being different, and it can often be a strength. Luna solved many problems and saved many people because of her constant ability to think outside the box. Her unique personality is what made her all the more inspiring!

Luna Lovegood was definitely a unique figure in the Harry Potter universe. She can wear radish earrings or a lion hat and be totally cool with any reactions she might get. Even when targeted, Luna would rather be herself than conform, and simply deals with the reality of getting things back rather than worrying about how her classmates find her odd.

Rowling said in an interview. Luna deeply values her friendships, perhaps because her oddities have made friendship difficult for her. Behind her strangeness, what I appreciate about Luna is the special kind of wisdom she has.

When I was younger, Hermione was definitely my favorite character. She was the smart one, and very well-read. She sees the deeper meaning behind The Tale of the Three Brothers and believes in the Deathly Hallows before any of the other students do. She later goes on to discover many of the creatures others scoffed at but she believed in. Luna also makes sense of the voices that she hears from behind the veil in the Ministry of Magic. In addition to being one of the six students to go the Ministry of Magic at the end of Order of the Phoenix, Luna spends quite a lot of the seventh book locked in a dungeon of Malfoy Manor.

Ollivander credits Luna with helping him bear the horror of being imprisoned. Luna also knew to talk to the ghost of Helena Ravenclaw about the diadem, suggesting that, like Harry, she had also discovered several things about Hogwarts few other students knew about. It was her knowledge that enabled Harry to destroy the diadem and thus defeat Voldemort at the end of the battle. Reading about Luna has helped me find the confidence to embrace my own creativity, uniqueness, and willingness to think outside the box.

She taught me to be comfortable with being a misfit, and to express kindness even to those who treat me poorly. I love this so much! As the students are leaving the train, Harry is attacked by Draco and left stunned under his invisibility cloak.

Harry was all set for a long and uncomfortable trip back to London until Luan came to his aid. It's ironic that Luna is able to save Harry after seeing wrackspurts through the Spectrespecs. Luna's stories of strange creatures are often laughed off by those around her but after seeing wrackspurts swarming around Harry, she's able to save him - and even fixes his nose for good measure.

As Gryffindor prepares to face Slytherin on the Quidditch pitch, Luna appears in the Great Hall with a brand new accessory. In one of Luna's most inspirational scenes , she is seen wearing a handmade Lion Headdress in support of Gryffindor which is especially sweet considering she's a Ravenclaw.

Most other Ravenclaws probably wouldn't care about this match but Luna goes above and beyond to support her friends. Luna also obliviously asks Harry about what he's put in Ron's cup which is actually instrumental in his plan to improve Ron's confidence. Of course, Harry never really puts the Liquid Luck in Ron's cup so it's actually Luna's apparent mishap that leads to him feeling more confident on the pitch. While Bill and Fleur's wedding turns out to be quite a dramatic affair, at least Luna had a good time.

Despite the later chaos and being bitten by a garden gnome, Luna is seen happily dancing with her father at the wedding. Their style of dancing is rather unusual and certainly provides some comedy in one of the darker movies of the franchise. Many of Luna's characteristics seem to come from her Dad so it's not surprising that they have the same dance style, particularly one that's so unusual. One of the most dramatic things to happen to Luna is when she is kidnaped by the Deatheaters.

At some point after Bill and Fleur's wedding, Luna is taken to Malfoy Manor and locked in the basement along with Ollivander and Griphook. Eventually, the golden trio is also brought to the Manor and Dobby turns up to rescue them. Seeing Dobby after so long was a rewarding moment, even if it did lead to heartbreak and it was amazing to see him alongside another fan favorite like Luna. Of course, Dobby spent most of his life being disrespected and abused so it was heartwarming that Luna referred to him as 'Sir'- and Dobby seemed delighted by it too.

While Luna doesn't get a lot of screen time in the final movie, she actually proves invaluable in the quest to defeat Voldemort. By the time Harry returns to Hogwarts, he is aware that there is a Horcrux within the school but doesn't know what the Horcrux is.
