It's a guy singing about that he loves everything about a girl and she doesn't know that she's beautiful but if she could see through his eyes. Why the hell would anyone think that producing a song that is about the exact same thing that every other song is about. I don't think she's insecure, I think she's modest. And there's no mention of love. Yes, it is counter-productive. This poor girl doesn't want to be loved for her looks, and here this guy is sexualizing her just cause she exists.
