There used to be movies where the purpose of it might be giving entertainment, educating or enlightening them. But apart from most of the movies, Interstellar' is more than that. It is not a movie. You never realize that you spent 2 hrs 40 mins in the theater. It blends with you. It makes you a third person in the lives of the character watching then to go through all the experiences they have.
This is not a movie, this is an absolute experience that everyone should experience. It educates you, It questions you wit to the maximum level possible (How many of you understand quantum physics and Wave theory? It raises an in-numerous questions even to the researchers who are the top in this domain, Is that possible? The answer is yes and no at the same time. For believers, it is possible as explains the paradoxes and decodes how it is possible and for non-believers, there are always questions that cant be answered.
Apart for science, the human connections are stupendous. It makes you to connect emotional not just to a character but to the future of the earth.
And the best part in the movie is subtlety in the picturing it. There is enormous possibility of making it more of a scifi journey showing colorful planets etc etc. But Nolan used what is required without going for too much unnecessary visual elevations.
The science, emotions, story & the screenplay are the best in the movie.
It is an experience that everyone should experience. Question your wits.
Every time I hear this song, I start to cry, I think about the future of the earth and it seems to me that this film was made on facts because I'm interested cosmos and this film is my favorite.
The story was initially promising, but after mission start of the film had unfortunately many lengths, it would have been better to put this place 2h 3h.

The SciFi ideas were sometimes quite OK, but not consistent. In Star Trek z. B. the makers have previously carefully considered to create a coherent picture to. In this film, here it creates the rocket spaceship with his ridiculous drive to escape the pull of the black hole. br>
The special effects were on the level of 90 years. since I've been hoping for much more. I went because of the extremely good reviews on IMDb in this film and am just disappointed.
(1) Repopulating the earth will only work if you ignore looks, how the hell do you think living organisms repopulated the earth when a giant asteroid killed 90% of all dominant life on Planet Earth. (2) Cooper couldn,t have a conversation with her when she was younger because SHE IS IN MIDDLE SCHOOL AND LEARNING ABOUT MURPH'S LAW. WHAT DO YOU WANT HER TO BE, A BABY? 3) The movie is based in some 50 yrs. in the THEORETICAL future in which I am assuming that trucks have advanced much that it can follow a 10 yr. old drone through a corn field with a flat tyre. (4)It is common for modern schools to diss older theories of science during science class. 4000 yrs. ago the earth being flat was science. (5)We are looking at a future where dust storms, crashing drones and dead crops are day-to-day events. Common cold is very common but we take it very seriously. (6)Behind the barriers there are probably glass windows allowing the light to come in while shutting out the dust. (7)Forgetting things is very common among very bright kids. (8)Cooper lets Murph come along despite the fact that Murph tricked him because Murph happens to be his favourite child. (9)Scientific movies aren't all about space. (10)10,000yrs. ago the Indus Valley Civilization couldnt imagine a future where migrating to the indo-gangetic plain was better than building a dam to stop flood, but we all know what happened.(HINT: migration) 11)Secret organizations funded by the government(USA) arent all that uncommon, therefore NASA operating undercover isnt a big deal. (12)NASA was unable to find expert pilots because the university only lets in a handfull of students. (see parent-teacher meeting scene) 13)Because the wormhole should not be detectable to the common people,duh. (14) i think you missed the part where cooper gets his dream about his crash. BEFORE THE CORN SCENE. (15)Again, this movie is located some 50yrs. in the future where AI is possible. Therfore humor settings aren't all that uncommon.

Aladdin having to be a shot by shot, word by word remake of the original, it would so be pointless and so unoriginal if they do stuff like that, I'm actually glad that this version is based on the ballad of Hua Mulan because so that it doesn't offend the culture of China and it stays to the legend ballad I also don't mind about the changes at all either, for Mushu, I do agree that he is funny but honestly he can be very annoying at times, is way too cocky, and was such a self-centered asshole in Mulan 2, plus for a Chinese dragon, he was so weak and small and they are supposed to be powerful and strong, also dragons are mostly associated with men, anyway, All I have heard that Mushu will be changed into a Phoenix and its fits for Mulan since they are supposed to represent woman, so Im fine with that I'm also fine for it not being a musical because it would be so awkward and so out of place if they all singing while fighting in a freaking war, just be glad that they didn't fully remove all the songs from the film since they all will be instrumental background music, also reflection will be sung in the end credits by Liu Yifei and Christina Aguilera, so thats a good thing For Mulan having a new love interest, and I gotta be honest, I don't think she even needs to have once since I feel she is an independent woman who does not need a man and she can live without falling in love with some, but anyway, for what in heard, Shang is separated into two characters because of me too movement and the director thought it was weird that Mulan was dating and later married her own general, I know that in this film, he will be Donnie Yen as Commander Tung & Yoson An as Chen Honghui, so I would say shang isnt replace, they pretty much just rename him Also I know people are nitpicking about other thing like Mulan not cutting her hair, which I heard that in china, cutting someones hair would be considered a punishment and is a sign of disgrace, so that I dont mind Also just so you know, Mulan was never supposed to be a comedy and a lot of the jokes can be very racist at times, Im fine with the film being dark and serious since they are fighting in a freakin war and it has to be about the action and martial arts, which Im great with because I love Kung-Fu films, and it feels like you are watching a marvel movie or something Oh yeah, also for that whole thing about the actress that is playing Mulan who is claim of supporting the HK police and their brutality, I honestly feel that, she and almost every chinese celebrity was forced repost it by the CPP, because if they didnt, their career would get ruin and also their family would get taken away or possibly get killed, I just honestly think we shouldnt judge a person by a single act they do in their lifes, because you have no idea what her struggles are and you guys were not there when she fought her own battles, so beside all that, I think shell do great for the role and just be happy that Disney casted an actual chinese girl to do it, and I think that Mulan has always been one of the most bravest and strongest out of all the Disney Princesses, and also she is top 3 of my favorite Disney princesses, so yea, thats why I cant wait to see this movie and why I think this will do great.
