Then Cap says those o-so-famous words we had been dying to hear since the first Avengers movie. “AVENGERS. Assemble” I couldnt even take in the amount of stuff was on the screen at that time. I sat there, mouth dropping down to the floor, eyes the size of dinner plates, Nothing from that moment forward in cinema would amaze me. All the heroes charging into battle as they all shout war cries. This is what 10 years of movies has lead up to. This is how all these movies combine. And it was spectacular.
I WISH I COULD GO BACK IN TIME TO SEE THIS IN THEATRE AGAIN... Its funny that if it was not for RDJ taking the role, the character migth not be as memorable and liked. RDJ did its best with this. Up until this point all the focus of the MCU had been on the father figures, Frigga's role in this movie is fitting as she has been there and on screen from the first Thor movie and had a much bigger role in his life compared to almost all the other avengers. Her role is perfect to bring Thor closure about her death and also to rekindle the fire within him to hope and have a purpose. She represents the New Asgard Odin spoke off as she probably inspired the idea in Odin to drop his conqueror/world domination mantle and uphold peace (probably why she was never mentioned Ragnarok, shes not Hela's mother. Thus all her two sons ideals of hope, peace and inspiration come from her...

I don't remember how many times I've seen the movies in MCU, and admittedly I really admire, even crave for the appearance and moral integrity that Steve rogers possesses. After Civil war when people pointed their moral compasses about whether signing the accords was a right thing to do, my affection of Captain and him was way too deep for me to make my stance. But today, right before his sacrifice, the answer was coming right at me- It was always him. He's the perfect reflection of my real life-textbook narcissism, volatile and self-obsessed;
The hero basically every man dreamed of: genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist. When everyone thinks he values individualism above collective goods, he carried the nuke through the wormhole, he knew that going in the quantum realm might causing him significant losses but still risked his life and brought back trillions of people and he knew putting on the infinity stones would jeopardize his own life but he did it to keep his promise: If we can't protect the earth you'll be damn well sure we'll avenge it.

Seriously two hours to cover what should only take about 40 to 50 mins. Normally films have twenty minutes to set the story and introduce the characters. This film spends one hour reintroducing characters from the other movies then the characters decide what to do. Then another hour of idle chit chat. This movie is full of itself. I'm so glad I didn't bother going to the cinema to watch this. I'm sure there was going to be some action at some point but I ran out of patience.
