Well, when I uninstall using the first method and reboot as requested by Windows , when it restarts, the Touchpad is back in Device Manager, and it appears to still have the same driver version I can then reinstall the driver from the Lenovo download, and it says it has completed successfully, but the driver version is the same as it would be as So I am not sure if it is exactly installing anything new or not, and I am not sure the driver software is being deleted properly or not.
