After I went for a quick test drive, all I can say is "If you don't have one, what are you waiting for? This mod is so easy and simple, you see the improvement instantly. Highly recommended.
The throttle response is greatly improved. He is about to get a software remap so he's also going to test the Sprint Booster after the remap. Several thousand miles of use here.
No partial throttle "cruising problems" and no noticeable "dead" pedal position. The following graphic taken from Mini Mania's site partly illustrates how the effect feels to me. I could be very wrong in how I think this thing works, but lively engine response can't be denied. Used it a few years ago on my Mercedes with good results. Especially having twin turbos being very selective turned out to be crucial.
As far as fuel consumption goes, it might be using a touch more but I think the biggest contributing factor is the temptation to let it all hang out. Now I definitely need a V1!!! Acceleration is definitely improved, not sure what that would translate to in but you'll notice it trust me! Don't delay Get one today!!!
Sprint Booster is great!! I can confirm that along with all the great stories already on here. When I posted about it a few months back, a lot of people were skeptical about this, but now there's so many of us using it. What I do notice tho, and if you guys care to discuss this, if you put the car on Sports mode DS do you guys feel like the car shifts abruptly sometimes? Like its hard to drive smooth with this thing, but its damn fun to drive like you stole it. I was trying to find a way to hide the wire but decided to leave it out as is.
