These are the assigned schools for Washington St 1. Bidwell Elementary School. GreatSchools Rating. Parent Rating Average. On the occasion I do pull my child out of school I am never verified or even asked my relation to the child, they just ask which child I would like to remove from class.

I also have walked to her classroom on many occasions and walked her to my car and not ONCE did one yard duty or staff say a word.

I could be a parent or relative they recognize that's unauthorized to be near let alone pick up this child! I also assume my note of concern was instead passed to my childs teacher because she contacted me and put FULL blame on my child who was coming home daily crying.

Parent Review 6y ago. Vista Preparatory Academy. Excellent teachers? All they do is complain about the students and how it's all their fault if they don't learn. Strong Principal? I don't know about the new principal, but the female principal last year had no backbone when it came to discipline and then wondered why there were so many problems.

Challenging academic program? Not even a little. They've dumbed down the curriculum so much that few, if any, are actually being challenged. Vista could be a good school but the overall climate makes learning there a nightmare. I wish I had sent my child somewhere else.
