What I'm saying is that game is not bred for as much, not is game as common as it used to be. Not all Pit Bulls are game by any means; although there are some breeders who still breed for game Pit Bulls not necessarily fighting Pit Bulls, but game , but not all do.
More breeders breed for family pets, and not gameness. Remember gameness is the determination and will to complete any task no matter how much pain or stress the dog is under.
I don't understand what pleasure people get out of fighting dogs, or any animal for that matter. It's unimaginable to me. I understand animals fight in the wild for territorial and other reasons, but doing it for sport is grotesque to me. I don't necessarily believe in kharma - but more or less, remember you reap what you sow. Whitney - I'm a bit confused. Are you saying that you believe game is no longer or barely existent? Because, based on your definition, I kind of believe all pits regardless of breed have "game".
Personal Finance. Gameness The most confused terms in relation to Pit Bulls is probably "gameness. Gameness has nothing to do with ability or bravery; it has to do with heart.

Zebo's career began on the yard of Lester Hughes," The Mountain Man", where he won four times all quick kills. After his fourth he was shipped to the yard of Grady Cummings and while there, Cummings' Red Fox made the mistake of getting off his leash and ran into Zebo and was killed.
Grady then made Lester get Zebo off his yard. Zebo was then sold to Dave Adams of Ohio, of whom Zebo is best associated with. At first Mr. Hughes did not intend on selling Zebo but Mr. Adams came up with enough money to change his mind.
Unfortunately Zebo attacked Mr. Adams son and nearly took his son's ear off. After the request of Mr. Adams wife, Zebo was then sold again, this time to Mr. Johnson who fought him two more times. The last time to a son of his littermate brother, Vindicator. Johnson hoped to get another match in, but was unable to find any takers, despite the fact that Zebo was past seven years old at this point.
Thus, Zebo was retired to stud, and lived to the age of 13,siring his last litter just days before his death. He had lost his sight at the end, due to damage that he had sustained, for no dog was ever to get to his rear.
CH Willie was, as said by some, to have the destructive ability as his sire, by killing each his opponents in times of , , and minutes.
Many said that Moe went to the well one too many times in his loss to CH Charlie. After his victories over CH Fargo and his brother Basket, too much was taken out of him to go into a much younger dog like Charlie.
The breeding that produced Zebo and his littermates was one of those outstanding litters that only come once in a great while. But where did this one black dog come from??? Many speculate Zebo wasn't bred as represented. For one Mr. Hughes purchased Zebo from Lonzo without any papers. Some claim that Mr. Hughes sold many different Zebos. A lot claim Zebo to be half brother to another famous pair, Eli jr. Although, Lonzo's Andy was a black dog himself and Zebo threw nothing but black dogs, even when bred to various females of different colors, it still remains a question in a lot of people's minds.
Sport was one of the best dogs in his day. He was bred by A. Betts and in his early days was called the champion forty seven pound dog of the Pacific Coast. Later in life Sport was owned by the McClintock brothers, also by F.
The soldier's stopped the fight and the actual time is not known. Sand's Spot a 55 pounder in 1. Stormer was probably one of the best English match dogs ever fought. Stormer was an English Bull terrier and Staffordshire bull terrier battle cross.
Stormer's record is impressive. The only criticism that people make, is that he didn't produce anything. Not surprising for a hybrid! Stormer is particularly famous for beating Ricky B's infamous champion Psycho a great producer. A fun game to play and to allow him to jump and see how high he can get. It is probably best to play this outside if you are cramped on space indoors. You can use a tug toy or stick. I love this game! I am going to start playing with my-my pit. You need a couple of different stuffed animals, but easy ones like bear or cat.
Stick to just a couple at first so he can learn them. When you toss them, say what they are. He will learn the words! Dogs love to play. He just loves the attention and time with you.
