The drive can prevent the motor from stalling and still reach the desired speed without the user needing to change the acceleration or deceleration ramp settings.

The Stall Prevention function can be set separately for acceleration, operating at constant speeds, and deceleration. Page L4: Speed Detection 0.

Page Sets the speed level for the car door to open. Page L5: Automatic Fault Reset When the counter reaches the number set in L, the operation stops and the fault has to be reset manually after correcting the cause.

Page L6: Torque Detection Figure 5. Operation stops and an oL3 or oL4 fault is triggered. Setting 3: Alarm only If an overheat alarm occurs, an alarm is output and the drive continues operation. Page By setting the ambient temperature to parameter L and adjusting the installation method setting in L, the drive rating automatically adapts to safe values. Page For an IP00 enclosure drive installed with at a minimum of 30 mm 1.

Setting 2: IP00 enclosure with top protective cover For an IP00 enclosure drive with top protective cover. Page Enable L when connecting a braking resistor or a braking resistor unit to the drive built-in braking transistor.

Page N5: Inertia Compensation Sets the time required to accelerate the motor from a full stop up to the rated speed at the rated torque. C to at least 1. A setting of 1. Page Although this parameter rarely requires adjustment, increasing the gain can help improve responsiveness relative to the load. Lower setting if oscillation occurs. Page N6: Online Tuning Sets the current used for the initial rotor position estimation as a percentage of the motor rated current.

Prior to adjusting this value, make sure all other parameters motor data, speed loop settings are adjusted correctly. Page Some monitors are only available in certain control modes. Page Sets the roping ratio.

The speed reference is saved for 5 s after it is changed. The operator display flashes when settings can be made for the frequency reference. Page O4: Maintenance Monitor Settings Note: The actual maintenance time will depend on the environment where the drive is used. Page Resets the number of travels counter. Once o is set to 1 and the ENTER key is pressed, the counter value is erased and the display returns to 0. Page S: Elevator Parameters A setting of 0.

Page Pole diversion exceeded 15 degrees three times. Parameters set by Encoder Offset Tuning were outside the acceptable range. Page Comparing Parameter Settings flashing Cause Possible Solutions The Verify mode has confirmed that parameters settings on the drive and parameters read to the copy device are Not an error.

Page Section Safety Do not attempt to modify or alter the drive in any way not explained in this manual. Yaskawa is not responsible damage caused by modification of the product made by the user. Page Do not touch a hot drive heatsink. Failure to comply could result in minor or moderate injury.

Check the following items on a daily basis to avoid premature deterioration in performance or product failure. Although periodic inspections should generally be performed once a year, the drive may require more frequent inspection in harsh environments or with rigorous use. Operating and environmental conditions, along with experience in each application, will determine the actual inspection frequency for each installation. Yaskawa recommends checking the maintenance period regularly to ensure maximum performance life.

Page If the Maintenance Monitor is not reset, the drive will not have the correct value of the performance life for the new component. Page Drive Cooling Fans And Circulation Fans To ensure maximum useful product life, replace all cooling fans when performing maintenance. Contact your Yaskawa representative or the nearest Yaskawa sales office to order replacement cooling fans as required.
