Or perhaps you are located in a different part of the world, and are not installing the US Imperial or US Metric content. So far as I know, there is no out-of-the-box file of that name, but, again, perhaps you are installing localized content I have never seen. And, on my computer anyway, it does not have a file named "ACA" - with any file extension.

If you do not have File Explorer set to display file extensions of known file types, please do so. I really do not understand why having that off is the default in Windows - it leads to no end of grief among the very people it is supposed to be helping.

This folder has subfolders with out-of-the-box catalog files that could be opened in Content Browser, if they are not already there:. Catalog files have an ATC extension. But, just for fun, so do other files, like the workspace "catalog" files that hold the palettes you see on the Tool Palettes palette in the workspace.

The latter will not open in Content Browser. Installing that content placed the tool catalogs associated with that content in the Content Browser. Here are the locations of each of the ATC files behind those catalogs default installation locations :.

When you say you are trying to "load a tool catalog," are you trying to open these catalogs in Content Browser or are you trying to have these tools show up on a Tool Palette in your workspace? Some of the catalogs have tool palettes, with tools assigned to them, which could be brought into your workspace. Others just have tools some organized into categories ; you would have to add these tools to an editable tool palette in your workspace or, for infrequent use, just run the tool directly from the catalog.

If you have these catalogs in Content Browser, and are trying to get them in your workspace, reply back and indicate exactly which tools, from which catalog, you are trying to add and someone here should be able to walk you through the process. I have tried every thing you suggested but nothing has worked. I've reinstalled the program, changed search paths and restarted the program over and over. I'm at my wits end with this problem and my annual contract is coming due April 20 and if Autodesk can't get it resolved I may not renew.

Somebody from AutoDesk needs to get into the problem. If you are on subscription, you should open a support case with Autodesk. Autodesk staff may or may not see this thread. I thought my initial entry was directed to them.

I run mep, c3d. Today however, everything was gone.

I started with Tiana. Everything is back to normal. Weird that I have the exact error that you and David Koch have been discussing with Don. Actually it is one of my students. We have been at this all week. In fact tonight we purchase a NEW computer and have the same error message. Use the Select All and Clear All buttons as necessary. A progress bar in the application status bar informs you of the progress of the catalog generation. This can take a few moments for a large catalog.

Note: When you specify a folder as the catalog source, any nested folders are included in the new tool catalog. Note: If both options are enabled, the catalog is first grouped by the drawings and then by the object type, generating categories from the drawings, and palettes from the object types.
