Accessibility: compatible with screen readers, and there is a dyslexic font option. Your choice of 7, 14, 21 or 28 day loan period. Check out up to 35 eBooks, eAudiobooks and streaming video. Place up to 20 holds on popular books.

Freeze your hold and retain your place in the queue. Renewals available three days before the title loan period ends. Titles can be renewed multiple times if no-one else has placed a hold. View borrowed titles and holds and renew titles from OverDrive in your main library account.

Open PDF eBooks cannot be returned early. Titles on hold must either be picked up in four days, or you can choose to have them automatically checked out. Also accessible from outside New Zealand.

Reading history available if you opt in to the service. Recommend up to four titles for purchase every seven days. If your card has been made inactive by a librarian - for example, if you reported your card lost - it will no longer work on the eBook websites. Contact us if you have any problems logging in.

Kindle eReaders, except for Amazon Fire tablets, are not compatible with our eBook websites. Holds do not automatically appear on Kobo devices once they are available.

After a hold is auto checked out to your account, or you have borrowed it manually if the auto checkout has been turned off , you will need to manually sync the Kobo for the book to appear on it. Overdrive recommend keeping automatic checkout turned on to make it easier to sync the Kobo. Available holds cannot be directly borrowed from Kobo eReaders even if the hold was placed from the Kobo , so if auto checkout is off, you will need to manually borrow each hold on the Auckland Libraries OverDrive website or Libby before syncing the Kobo.

If new items are not appearing in the catalogue search, check the OverDrive site directly, as they appear there first. The Long Way Home. Wild Seas to Greenland. When Whitbread Race winner Ross Field refitted his year-old, aluminium yacht Rosemary for hi..
