Overall Review: If you have felt any type of discomfort with your mouse, the ergonomic design of this one is a big help to ease the tension and stress of your hand. It really is a very comfortable mouse.

Pros: I have nothing but praise for this mouse after the brief adjustment to its shape. I find that it responds quickly and with precision. I use it for 3d Modeling and gaming, and it meets my needs extremely well. Battery life seems to be excellent, despite my almost constant use.

Cons: The only points I can even make are hardly worth mentioning. It did take a day or two to get used to the higher profile, but to be honest it is MUCH more comfortable for me I have large hands and long fingers , and now when I grab my wife's mouse for something it feels much too flat. My only other nitpick was the default button settings. The Intellimouse software has one set up for automatically zooming a zone on the screen, and another for switching between applications.

I'm far too locked into my Alt-Tab for swithcing apps, and I certainly don't need the zoom. Fortunstely the software allows you to reconfigure those settings, so it was easily dealt with. Overall Review: My old mouse's scroll wheel had the tactile 'clicks' when it was scrolled, and I kind of miss that when faced with the utterly smooth scroll on this mouse - but I am becoming accustomed to it, and this scroll doesn't have the annoying tendency to occasionally snap back that my old one did.

If you're looking for a new wireless mouse, and you're not afraid to get used to the high profile, grab this one. Pros: This is absolutely the most comfortable mouse I've ever used. Even better, perhaps, is that since it's a laser mouse, it works on virtually any surface excluding reflective surfaces, of course. Cons: The thing is extremely inaccurate and cumbersome. This doesn't sound like a big deal if you're not the type to do a lot of artistic design or gaming or if you have a tablet for one, and a controller for the other, for example. I spend about 9 hours a day using it. Pros: It actually feels good to put my hand on this mouse. Most things are not designed for a person to put their hand on and keep it in the 'natural resting position'. This mouse does serve that purpose. Grabbing it gives me an ahhh feeling. Scrolling is good. Signal is good. Solid as a rock. Eliminates the pain that normally shoots through my hand after working on a computer all day and coming home and using mine casually.

Cons: it is the tallest mouse that i have ever seen. Overall Review: Would never use for gaming outside of something like bejeweled. My other mouse will stay plugged in for this reason. The only problematic feature about the mouse itself is the location of the thumb buttons. Rather than leaving them next to your thumb, where you'll find them on the standard mice that have them, Microsoft instead elevated them with the plane of the main buttons. This puts them in the dead zone between your thumb and forefinger, which means you have to move either your thumb or your main finger to get to them.

Making such a move interrupts smooth mouseflow, and takes some getting used to to feel which of the two buttons you're actually going to press. Placing the buttons on the thumbrest would have been much more logical. If the thumb buttons are irritating, the scroll wheel is actually one of the best we've encountered outside of Logitech's superior MX Revolution mouse and its flywheel design. The scroll wheel on the Natural Wireless feels sturdier than the wheel on Microsoft's Intellimouse 3.

It also has responsive side-to-side tilt-based scrolling, which you'll appreciate if you spend time with wide spreadsheets or other large files.
