Sure, Wall-E was probably my favorite film of , so it's little surprise that the Blu-ray would be my favorite disc of the year. But it's rare that the public gets such a well edited, worthwhile set of extras to look through.

Because, I mean, let's face it. The movie would have been enough. The A. It's a unique cinema experience that you must enjoy firsthand. This movie delivers everything you can imagine and much more, not to mention a great message. I highly recommend this movie for everyone, it's just a very wonderful movie that anyone can enjoy. The animation, I can't believe how far we've come, but this was a beautifully made movie and couldn't have been better. Read full review.

It has 8. The DVD is a pack of 3 disks. But the pack could be done much better!!! The disney "digital file" on the other hand is lacking. This review would be 5 stars if the digital file wasn't so crippled. And then you can only transfer it once from there to your digital device. Must have movie! Pixar's TOP one! The beginning of the movie has no speaking, but the animation is so expressive that you don't really notice, and when I watched the film in the theater even the younger children were following the story none of the dreaded "Mom!

What's happening? Why'd he do that? Don't wanna be here all day after all! This is a good film for both kids and adults, and a great release with tons of extras to keep you entertained for hours.

Even if you don't watch all the extra features, you must watch the two animated shorts, because they're both great. And you'll want to check out the The Pixar Story as well, though young kids may get bored with that one.

Anyway, definitely check it out. Tropic Thunder Unrated Director's Cut. My Score:. Available November 18, Buy From Amazon. Good stuff indeed. There are two sets of deleted scenes, one set that is actually fleshed out and complete scenes that were cut from the film which you don't normally get in animated films and one set that are just storyboards with sound.

I really enjoyed the completed deleted scenes, and the others were just ok, but it was nice that they were included. There's the standard audio commentary by Director Andrew Stanton, plus scads of featurettes on sound and technical design, the score of the movie, what goes into the making of a scene, etc.

That stuff is to placate the grown-ups who are into animation and such. There are a handful of B n L shorts, which are fun, plus a storybook called "Lots of Bots" where you can either read along or play along - nice for the young ones, and also a featurette that explains each bot found on the Axiom. You can just tell the animators were having fun with this as the gang plays with various objects and we benefit from the amusement.

Lots of fun. Lastly, there's a digital bonus copy of the movie included for your home computer or iPod. While the whole eco-message was more than a little bit preachy don't screw up the Earth, you idiot humans!
