There seems to be a problem serving the request at this time. Gaming cheat codes have been in use by gamers since it was first made available for the Nintendo Entertainment System in the s when it offered its gamers 99 extra lives to defeat a challenging level. Whether you want to live an extra 99 lives, be able to walk through walls to avoid traps, or to make your character invincible, cheat codes are now made readily available, especially through supplemental cartridges such as the Action Replay GBA.
Although no longer widely produced, you can still find a multitude of Action Replay GBA cartridges available on eBay in both new and used conditions. Although Action Replay has produced many versions of its Action Replay cartridges in the past, each Action Replay cartridge can only be used within its own family of console systems. Action Replay cartridges are not backwards compatible, meaning that newer versions cannot be used on older systems.
The CD it comes with provides installation instructions for adding the Action Replay code manager to your computer. As a result the creators of the action replay has to make the codes very long so your action replay can identify the code. There is no way to add action replay codes while playing, but with the text to item or realtime world edit codes you can enter hex codes to change the item you are placing.
The reason for the action replay is basically for you to have cheat codes for your ds but in order for them to work is for you to look up action replay codes and figure out how to enter them into your action replay card.
It's kind of obvioce isn't it, brainiac! To enter action replay codes plug in the action replay and start the console. For activators they should be in the code description.
It's impossible to make codes unless you are the inventer of action replay. All you can do is get codes and type them in.
You need the Action Replay DS to use the codes on your games. If you mean by putting codes onto your DS without typing it in, you can use the Action Replay Code Manager to manage, add, delete, and transfer codes onto your Action Replay.

I only give instructions for the R4 but this works on the M3 simply as well, you just need to get the newest firmware, 1.
This is verified by myself, and it works great Ok first, you need the latest R4 firmware, v 1. Under Subscriptions right click Codejunkies US Games and select copy if you want all or just do this for games you want. Under My Codelists right click and select paste.
Let it import the games into your codelist. Import the one you just made and then go to file and Save As cheat database. Save it as usrcheat. Now open the card again and navigate to the system folder. Copy the new usrcheat.
