If you want to integrate technology, we have a PowerPoint of the books of the Bible. Great for memorizing the books of the Bible and playing a variety of games. Bible cards come in eight printable sheets, each sheet containing nine cards. The last sheet contains three books of the Bible and six category cards for use with various games. Use medium or heavy card stock for durability. Cut out each card before class.
A complete set of cards contains the following:. Book Race A very popular game with the kids is to put all 66 books of the Bible cards face down on the floor. Form two teams, assigning one team the Old Testament and the other team the New Testament.
The object is to retrieve all the cards for the appropriate testament and put them in correct order on a table. Each team is timed. Then the game is played again working with the opposite testament. The two times are added together to determine a winner. Kids have a great time getting on the floor trying to find the right cards, and then racing to the finish. Line Up Put the six category cards face up on a table and deal the 66 Bible cards to the children.
