Just reporting what I see. I don't know enough about instruments to know if anything else is missing. There are lots of photos. If you need more. Just let me know. Whatever that gold finish is is mostly gone now. You can see remnants of it but it is mostly gone. The best photo is the one with the date. It also has some dings, as I would think would be expected. For sale is a Wurlitzer American Saxophone. I bought this saxophone at a prestigious estate sale in Chicago. I do not know much about saxophones, so if you have any questions please be very specific. It states"Low pitch" above the cereal number. The inside appears to be brass or gold plated. The outside is more of a silver. It does not include the case or mouth piece, only the things you see in the photos.

It needs restoration. It seems to be in great condition with no dents that I can see. All of the keys move but 2 of them need springs. It also looks like it will need new pads for the restoration. Excellent nickel plating. Very few and tiny dents only as seen in last photo. Has been re padded sometime in resent past. I had my repairman check it over and test it. It is very good ready to play condition. New neck cork. Original case is slightly tattered but sturdy condition. Serial Email me with any questions about item. Shipping or payment options.


Made in the USA. Unsure if in Elkhart. IN or another location. The saxophone has its original nickel plated finish. There has minimal finish loss to the neck or body of this saxophone. It is in very good estate found cosmetic condition.


This saxophone will need to be serviced for it to be played again. It has not been played for a long time. No restoration work has been done. Selling in as found estate condition. The mother of pearl buttons are on all the tabs as they should be.


It has serial number of on the body of the saxophone. This is a low pitch A saxophone. I was unable locate a SN list for this model saxophone. Mouthpiece reed clamp The cork on the end of the neck shows wear. The sax does require a minor solder repair on one guard to the body of the saxophone.


Just above the serial number. A small screw is missing and needs replaced on the end of a lever. I see no cracks or repairs to the body. The neck of the saxophone, has one small dent below the mouthpiece.


There are no dings or dents to the bell, or body of this nice old saxophone. I believe all missing pieces are present. The pads are all present but appear dry.


The center latch needs repair or replacement. Both suitcase latches are present. It has a blank metal tag on the side of the case. I am not a musician so I don't consider this instrument to be in playing condition. It will require restoration work to make this instrument playable. It comes with a few old reeds. The case measures 26" long x This is a parts horn only.


Several of the guards and keys are bent. This poor saxophone has been through ringers. Serial number P dates this in the 's. The outside and inside needs a lot of work if you are going to restore it. Please see pictures for overall condition.

This nearly year old sax is missing its neck and 5 hole covers sorry. I've no idea what they're called The first 4 hole covers near the larger part of the sax are missing, as well as one smaller one near the top in the back all shown in photos Not sure if the holes are supposed to be exposed To get a good idea as to what the surface looks like.
