Kids can step-by-step guided through booklets to collect Adult Written by jack November 4, Parents freaking out here clearly didn't look at rating It's an R-rated movie -- it's not meant for families with young kids. You shouldn't be showing your tweens R-rated movies. That said, there's no actual sex or nudity there's a ridiculous shot of a fake erect penis in a selfie , the swearing is nothing your kids haven't heard and it's a funny, fun, and smart parody of male-centric spy films.
This title contains: Positive Messages. Not a Family Film!!!!! Several close up shots of a penis! There were a few funny scenes, but most of the humor was based on sexual innuendos and raunchy humor.
Midway thru the film, there's a surveillance video and the guy's penis is clearly in the image. My wife and I were shocked. My son jumped in front of the screen to block it, but before he could do so it repeated the scene several times, each time with more attention given to the penis.
It seemed like this embarrassment had passed and a minute or so later it did it again, this time with a close up picture. This movie, based on those scenes should have been given much more warning. It was also filled with - sexual innuendos - violence - raunchy humor. Based on the fact that I was expecting something different, I would say it was the worse movie I have ever watched and I'm greatly troubled I offered it to my kids.
I am also disappointed with Common Sense Media's "expert review" for not drawing more attention to the scenes described above. Adult Written by JWalsh September 14, Great film I found this hilarious and it inspired me to watch other Paul Feig films.
Melissa McCarthy is brilliant and seeing her transformation from a deskbound, underdog to a total foul-mouthed bad-ass is what makes this so funny It's not one for the family though.
Adults only. Adult Written by Parent August 1, Adult Written by davispittman March 7, Laugh out loud hilarious comedy Families need to know that this R rated Melissa McCarthy comedy is raunchy and was made for teens and adults, not children.
The writing is near perfection, great comedy. Although if you don't profanity, then I warn you, this one is chock full. Positive role models. Parent Written by Lorena G. January 17, Since my 10 year old already knows a few vernaculars we opted to watch this movie as a family.
This is a hilarious movie, but really should be R rated. Yes violent, but the language.. Continuous stream of f bombs by one of the characters and then throughout the movie. Then there is one scene where a guy exposes himself on a cell phone, not the type of thing you want your kid to see in the day and age when you're trying to keep them safe from porn!
Although I'm a huge fan of the actors in this movie, it's definitely for a mature audience. Yes, I've officially turned into my mother LOL!
