In the game's story mode, Peach helped Blaze , Amy , and three Toads prepare invitations for the athletes who were to take part in the Olympics. When Amy noticed Sonic's invitation however, she asked for permission to give Sonic 's invitation to him in person.

Although Peach and the others insisted that that would take too long as they had other invitations to hand out, Blaze told Amy that she would allow this if she beat her in some events. Though Amy beat Blaze, this caused Blaze to accidentally knock all of the invitations off the table. Peach and her friends quickly regathered the dropped letters, but could not find the one that belonged to Dr. After Peach and the others had debated over whether or not they should delay Eggman's invitation, Amy agreed to stay and help Peach and the others and let Sonic get his invitation like everybody else.

As everything later got back on schedule, Daisy dropped by and suggested that they went shopping. When Amy voiced her intention to go with Daisy, Peach and Blaze insisted that she stayed and helped them distribute the invitations. To settle this, Peach and Daisy made a deal: if Peach beat Daisy in a series of events, Daisy had to stay and help with the invitations, but if Daisy won, Amy could go with Daisy.

Peach and Blaze thus teamed up against Amy and Daisy. After Peach's duo won, she agreed to let them all take a break in Hyde Park first. When they returned however, the invitations had been blown away by the wind. The group tried to regather the invitations, but discovered that Eggman and Bowser's invitations had been ruined after falling into the nearby lake. Peach and Amy thus decided to rewrite their invitations.

When the two villains demanded their invitations, the group decided to spent some time with a beach volleyball match, and if Eggman and Bowser won, they would get them their invitations in person. Although Peach and Amy won, the girls nevertheless decided to bring them their invitations after seeing how upset they were. When they returned, however, both Eggman and Bowser were gone. They also found out that the Toads had taken their invitations, only to lose them somewhere.

However, Blaze figured that Eggman and Bowser had already picked them up. After that, Peach Amy, and Daisy persuaded Blaze to go shopping with them. One morning later on, Peach and Blaze were protecting three Toads from Fog Imposters of themselves amidst a thick fog that covered London.

After defeating their imposters however, they dissolved into the fog. Peach and Peach also found Amy and Daisy, both of them having collapsed in the park. Peach and the girls then followed a Toad, who had seen a suspicious bat lurking around. Upon finding the bat, who turned out to be Rouge , she threatened to imprison the girls in the fog and have the Fog Imposters take their place.

After Rouge was defeated by Peach in an event though, the former admitted that she had no recollection of what she had been doing. Rouge then led everyone to a Fog Machine which Blaze destroyed.

As the fog cleared, Peach and her friends found out that Eggman had been using the fog to control Rouge's mind. As the heroes went to the museum, Peach and her friends stayed with Rouge in Hyde Park. When a denser version of the fog later covered Hyde Park, Peach cleared the park of it with the aid of Amy, Blaze, Daisy, the Toads and Rouge, which they reported back to Sonic and Mario about in an effort to support them as they faced the masterminds behind the fog: Eggman and Bowser.

Peach in Super Smash Bros. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl , Peach makes her second appearance in the Super Smash Bros. In this game, Peach is a starter character, making her available from the beginning. In gameplay, Peach is a lightweight and tall character. She has average speed, strong aerial moves, decent horizontal recovery, but weak and short-ranged ground-based moves and weak throws.

She also has a strong up smash, but a weak, but damage-racking down smash that involves her both twirling her hand raised and dress like a blade, respectively. Her Turnip projectiles are likewise effective at keeping opponents away when camping and can aid with her approach of opponents when used as gliding tosses.

She also possesses a floating ability that can be utilized in a number of ways, like assisting with her recovery moves and supporting her aerial attacks by keep her in midair without having to land or jump between attacks, or when wielding throwable objects.

Peach also possesses a supremely good horizontal recovery gameplay and has a knack for keeping opponents off-stage, performing combo attacks, racking damage, and an excellent aerial fighting style thanks to her floating ability.

However, she has trouble KOing opponents due to her general inability to land effective blows, her low-base knockback, and her knockback scaling. Her Turnips also have short range, which is made worse by her slow movements. She also has bad endurance, mediocre skills when it comes to canceling momentums, and the worst air dodge in the game. Also, thanks to having received stronger smash attacks and a quicker Peach Bomber, Peach's ground game has received a notable improvement. She has also received more knockback for her forward aerial, dash attack, and back throw techniques, which improve her KO capabilities. Also, once again, her ability to float gives her a powerful and unique aerial game which allows her to put the pressure on opponents in a safe way.

Combined with her vegetable projectile technique which is now slower , Peach can perform well against evenly-matched opponents in most situations. She has also gotten new attack effects, such as a ribbon swirling around her during her up smash.

She also has great combos and the ability to perform intricate combos that can carry out a high damage output. She is surprisingly good at performing KOs as well due to her forward aerial's high knockback. Despite this though, Peach's light weight, combined with her slow ground movement and difficulty to land safely, can lead to her being overwhelmed and KOed by fighters that play aggressively. SHe is also at a disadvantage agaist fast fighters.

Also, because her Vegetable projectiles have been slowed, her projectile game is not as effective anymore. Outside Peach herself, a wig designed after Peach's hair is also available as a headgear for all Mii Fighter types.
