If you owned a PS2 at any time during your life, then it's safe to say there were probably a few light gun games in your collection. With so many great options to choose from, there was never a shortage of games to play for fans of the genre. Since some games were much better than others, we've decided to rank the best PS2 light gun games of all time.

These two were an interesting departure from the normal Resident Evil format and are rails type shooters. You start off on a lively and fully-populated ship, but, before long, the entire ship is overrun by necromorphs, and you are tasked with taking them out. Like every other game in the Dead Space series, in Dead Space: Extraction, you must dismember the enemies to finish them off rather than attempting to go for headshots. The Time Crisis series is notable for adding the additional option to duck in cover while going through the game.
