It still says null, please help!!! Edit: I doubled checked everything and still nothing Edit 2: my internet seems to have slowed down from mbps to 10mbps. Any help appreciated thanks! Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

This issue might be occurring due to the driver incompatibility of the network adapter with Windows Run the Network troubleshooter first and then test your Internet connection.

Open the Network troubleshooter by swiping in from the right edge of the screen, tapping Search or if you're using a mouse, pointing to the upper-right corner of the screen, moving the mouse pointer down, and then clicking Search , entering network troubleshooter in the search box, tapping or clicking Settings, and then tapping or clicking Identify and repair network problems.

I would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the wireless network driver in compatibility mode as mentioned here. Select Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer. Now, download latest wireless network drivers from the computer manufacturer website and install it in compatibility mode.

If you are unable to setup a wired connection as well, download the setup file from a different computer and copy it to this one using a flash driver.
