Security tab windows 7 missing

Closing all open files and shutting down all apps Like FIrefox Browser every time I walk away is a lot of nuisance. I could use the old drive by tranfserring all the sensitive data to it, but again, why are the newer drives different?

Maybe someone knows of a Windows solution to keeping data private. It always seems to be an obstacle, but when I want to exclude some prying eyes it is of no help. I will have to also look into the formats on the drives in question. Yes, if I have an app open that is using files on the flash drive I get that msg but not always. And it only refers to all programs and windows using the drive not all programs running on the machine. I am trying to change the ownership from Trusted Installer to Administrators.

But the Owner Tab is missing in Advanced Security. Also there is no Edit option available to change permissions. What must I do to delete those files? The answer was to remove the Drive letter naming of the partition. That Drive Letter was placed there by Microsoft for some strange reason.

If you had previously used the D: drive name for some other purpose, Windows renaming of Partitions would cause problems. There are 3 recovery partitions. Only the mb partition is "before" the C drive. It is called "Healthy Primary Partition". There are 2 mb "Healthy Recovery Partitions" Office Office Exchange Server. Not an IT pro? How can I get access to these folders?
