Pcga-ufd1 driver

Have floppy drivers been removed from Windows 10? I've tried connecting it to different ports, and having windows detect and try to install drivers, but it keeps saying "there are no compatible driver for this device".

Windows Update doesn't offer any drivers for the device either. And I wouldn't be surprised if floppy devices support have been removed, given that they are hardly used anymore lol.

This issue might occur due to incompatible or outdated drivers and missing updates. I can understand that it must be difficult for you when things are not working as it should. Sorry to know that you are facing this issue. You may update the Audio or sound driver from Device Manager manually and check if this helps.

Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists. Further, you may also look for optional updates in Windows Updates to see if there are any additional updates related to this device and install them as required. If the driver update does not help then I would suggest you to completely uninstall the USB driver and reinstall it to check if this helps.

In the uninstall dialog, make sure you select the option to delete the driver package from the system. This causes the driver package installed earlier to be deleted. This will force the computer to recognize any hardware changes. Once the driver is installed, close all windows and restart the computer. Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. Now a driver for the floppy is listed in the USB controller section, however the driver for the drive itself has an yellow exclamation mark on it, and Drive A: is not being listed in "This PC".

The drive still works, I plugged it into my older computer running Windows 7, and it installed without issue. I took a screenshot of my device manager, with all USB related devices expanded, at least all the USB devices that are connected all the time.
