Install network xp printer windows 7

I prefer to access all these features of the MFC in Win 7 as well. I would really if someone can reply to my question with step by step instructions or perhaps post a link that can help me to resolve the issue.

It really doesn't matter if your printer is on a network, as this doesn't resolve a lack of printer drivers.

I've purchased a new laptop which comes preinstalled with Windows 7 64bit, and it can't install the print drivers from this network printer it does work on a Win7 32 bit version however, so seems to be an issue with the 64bit driver. Not sure I wanted to shutdown my computer, I clicked "restart now" button on the HP software install screen.

If you have a network printer that has XP install software, try it. It seemed a lot easier than the TS guess method. I have read several threads on here but can't quite find the answer. How do I get XP Mode to print to the desktop?
