Zombie driver gamespot pc
Zombie Driver keeps the story fairly simple and traditional of zombie games. The city is overrun with zombies and the army won't let you leave the city since they have it under quarantine. You end up helping to maintain Read Full Review. When I started playing this game It looked like a decent game. The intromovie shows you what happend to the world and how the world became full with crowds of zombies.
You realize when the game starts that the car is It's not the most imaginative game around, but it's dumb, gory fun. Complaining about an explosion is silly during a zombie invasion. If you want story, Zombie Driver HD sprinkles in what seems like intentionally cringe-worthy voice acting before each round that does little more than provide context for the level's objectives, which include everything from defending a news van from a zombie swarm to pumping missiles into a massive zombie blob.
The idea is that order has broken down to the point that the Army needs you and your uncommonly resilient taxi to thin the undead horde. It's simple but usually glorious fun, particularly when you zoom through dozens of zombies at once amid the satisfying sounds of crunching bone, and the sharp trigger controls for brakes and acceleration mark an improvement over the occasionally cumbersome maneuverings of the PC release.
It's a shame it's all over so quickly. Once you've worked your way up the gentle learning curve, most missions take only a couple of minutes to complete, extended only by a mildly annoying tendency for more zombies to wander back into the mission zone and push back the timer until you splatter every last one. Several side diversions exist, such as missions that have you save a police station or rescue some rich guy to unlock a squad car or a limo, respectively, but the true pleasures of Zombie Driver HD's campaigns spring from the sheer joy of firing at and running over zombies for extra cash for upgrades on your way back to base.
It's a level design that screams for even more objectives per level, and it's regrettable that developer Exor Studios never fully delivers. If these zombies were duckies, you wouldn't have a problem with them flooding the street.
While the campaign might yield its share of kicks, it's nowhere near as engaging as the survival-style Slaughter mode, which pits you against escalating numbers of zombie hordes and rewards you with weapon upgrades for surviving a round. As in the campaign, there's a welcome variety of enemies, including run-of-the-mill zombies that swarm the car, hulking brutes that throw bricks, and fat zombies that rush you and explode. If there's a problem, it's that the tiny maps feel cramped after the spacious landscapes of the campaign, and the limited space ensures that you spend much of your time in Slaughter mode simply driving around in circles.

While Zombie Driver isn't an amazing game by any stretch, it's still a fun little vehicular combat game - and it has zombies! I bought Zombie Driver on the 27th off of Steam for 2. That 2. With that out of the way, enjoy! These make up the majority of enemies in the game.
No special abilities. These are slightly more dangerous, as they do more damage and can't always be avoided. They run very fast and attack much faster. These zombies are very muscular men who will punch your vehicle and do high amounts of damage. They also slow your vehicle down more than regular zombies when hit.
These zombies are extremely fat and will explode on contact or when you are near them. Before getting high armor vehicles like the Bus or Experimental Military Vehicle, these can take out almost a quarter of your health single handedly. It fires bullets at rapid speeds, and at Level 3 can kill anything but Strong Men with one bullet. It gives you a speed boost and lets you get out of hordes quicker, so you take less damage. If you are using a vehicle with high ramming power and lots of armor, getting stuck in a horde won't happen.
Don't waste your time and money buying this. In order to actually hit anything with it, you would need to drive up to zombies, stop before hitting them, then fire. That is pointless - if you're going to do that, you might as well not stop and just drive through the horde. Don't waste money on this. It will launch a rocket or two at level 3 straight ahead, then blow up, instantly killing everything close to the blast.
This is worth spending money on. A full ammo pack of this weapon can clear entire hordes, even at level one. Immediately buy and upgrade this weapon as soon as you are able. When a fat zombie explodes, they kill all the zombies around them. Remember this. Ramming into anything but a fat zombie does zero damage to your vehicle. Only ram Strong Men if you have nitro or a way clear shot out of a horde. Strong Men slow down your vehicle more than any other zombie. Fat Men do just as much damage if you hit them than if you let them explode.
Make a quick pass and let them blow themselves up, or shoot them. Never ram a fat man. Find large groups of zombies around a single block, and drive in circles around the block, plowing over zombies in the way. Make use of your weapons during this, and a 10, point combo is nothing. Kill 3, zombies in a single mission. Just drive around the city killing zombies until you kill 3, of them. Basically, just do every bonus mission, chain massive combos for ultimate ammounts of money, and horde money.
Unlock the police squad car. On Mission 07, Operation Blue Shield, simply do the optional side mission, and you get this achievement. Play through the game and you'll unlock this.
Just buy all the upgrades on one car. You begin with no options for weapons or vehicle upgrades, as you have no money. Your only vehicle is the taxi, so that's what you'll use. Very simple - just drive to city hall, kill all the zombies there, and pick up the three people.
The kill zombies is easily accomplished just by driving to and from city hall. Another simple mission, that needs no real direction. Drive to the two houses, pick up the people inside, then drive back. If you want to get the bonus money, pick them all up before returning back.
After finishing, you will unlock the Sports Car. It goes 2. Don't bother upgrading anything before starting this mission - you will be replacing both your current vehicles with the Limousine once you unlock it.
