British tv themes torrent

I'm a regular member of many many sites and never come across anything like the admins at thebox. I actually wrote to FACT to ask them to shut down thebox - that's how bad they are. I hope they are shut down, and the admins heavily fined, so much more helpful sites can take over. Well, it probably says more about you than it does them.

I am a member of many sites like the Box to do with films and TV and so many times new members come in with a stinky attitude. They don't bother to read the rules and then get really aggressive when "the right way" is pointed out to them. Why is there a right way, because it would be chaos otherwise. Just read the rules, stick to them, don't get gobby and everything will be fine. I won't miss "the box. If you made a mistake, they assumed you were trying to get away with something and told you so in no uncertain terms.

I find that appalling. From what I understand, they are going more underground with a "very select" group of followers. On a lighter note, UK Chaos has the best admin.

They will tell you where you went wrong and ask you to correct it. Usually, it's a simple tech error, and you are informed minus the attitude. Monty Python's Flying Circus was my first exposure to this type of humor, and I loved it! Then, Benny Hill became available and could not be missed.

It was all a bit saucy and silly but he balanced this, as you say, by being able to laugh at himself. I have never been fond of "comedy shows" but I made an exception with Benny Hill.

I've never heard of most the shows you mention. Oh shoot, who was the funny guy with the big buggy eyes? Can't remember his name, but I think he was British. All good shows Jooels but from this side of the ocean I have to say Benny Hill was my favorite! Watched it all the time and loved that he laughed at his own sense of humor.

Hi Jools; "Fawlty Towers" was consistantly hilarious. Rowan Atkinson said it was the standard for all sit-coms.

Atkinson's "Blackadder" series was also a work of brilliance. Shows like this and "Yes Minister" prove that sit-coms can be intellectual.

Unlike most American sitoms, these shows worked on the assumption that the audience was smart. Of course, "Monty Python's Flying Circus" is the peek of television comedy ever. You just can't get any funnier than that. I enjoyed "Red Dwarf" a lot, even though the last two seasons were a big disappointment. The first six years were very clever and probably the best mix of sci-fi and comedy you'll ever find. Hi Jools, we had some great series in the 70's, I'd rather watch them on 'gold' than the rubbish nowadays!

Steve, thanks for your comment. More and more I think we must be the same, or nearly the same age. I didn't include a lot of stuff I watched myself, Catweasel -never missed it. I remember Father Dear Father but wasn't fussed. There were hundreds of sitcoms over both decades that just came and went, could be a hub in itself!

Flora, thanks as always for your comments. I am always interested to know what crosses over to Canada - I think I make an assumption, right or wrong, that Canadians 'get' British humour.

David Jason has perfect comic timing though we see him in less ans less nowadays. Fawlty Towers I loved but got me frustrated because Basil always lost. Until the final episode and he got to be a guest in the hotel. Its theme song was composed by James Newton Howard. He composed the scores for countless movies, including Batman Begins and the Dark Knight. The show itself did a great job carrying on the torch of the TV medical drama.

Bayside must have been a pretty small school for all of them to have their classes together like that. Arguably the best action figure line and cartoon of the 90s.
