Dude, those puny ass gundams are no match for the eva's, and here's why. The gundam's weapons will never penetrate the evangelion's AT Field. The Eva's are much more agile than the gundams; Sure, the gundams could fly, but have you seen the speed and agility of the Eva's??

The gundams would have a helluva hard time trying to touch those Eva's. The Eva's could tear those gundams apart. The evangelions are incredibly strong, and even if all five gundams went against one of the angels, they would get their asses kicked. A couple of times, it took only one, two, or three eva's to take out an angel.

This depends on the pilot, maybe if the pilot went beserk or something, other than that, Shinji is the only one who has really been able to bring out the true power of the Eva I don't think Asuka was very good in EoE. The Gundams are strong, they are made out of Gundanium. Even if an eva could rip a gundam up, I doubt it would ever touch it.

BTW -- the AT field is determined by the pilot in most cases, Eva could have been smashed by a conventional weapon through most of the series. But even if the deathscythe got into the base, it would never be able to tear the eva's apart, considering the episode where shinji's eva survived an N2 mine blast. No, I'm saying the DeathScythe used it's namesake weapon The Dual Beam Scythe and went in there and cut them up while there were no pilots in them.
