Gibbscam post processor files

Clicking on Process will generate the code to be sent to the control. If you have selected a Post Editor to use from the Plug-Ins menu, the code will be displayed in the application after it is generated. This may take a few minutes for large programs, so do not be surprised if the application does not open immediately.

Once the code is generated, save the file by clicking on Save or use the Save option from the File menu of the Post Editor application you have selected. Once the code is generated you may send the NCF file to the control if you have set your Communication preferences.

Click on the Communication button to open the Communication window. The name of the NCF file you have saved should be visible next to the Program button. Click on Send to send the posted output to the control.

The Com Set-Up preference allows you to specify how communications are handled to individual controls. An entry should be made for each type of control in the shop. The name may be anything—the model of the control, the name of the machine or anything else. Your email address will not be published. The following set of instructions will walk you through Post Processing a part file.

The Post Processor Comments preference allows you to specify comment data that is output in the NCF file generated by the system.

They changed me to an EDU license a couple of years ago. Prior to that I was using a standard license and everything worked fine.

That never worked right. I lived with it until now when I updated to a current version. I figured it was time to get a processor that I didn't have to work around. What is happening now is that I download a program to the machine and the control receives two programs. I don't store programs on the control so I use O with the part name as my program number for everything.

What I get now is the control receiving O and O O has no data in it. O has the program data but won't run from the beginning. I have to page down 1 page and then the program runs as it should. I have been in contact with Gibbs and they can't figure out how to change the post to make it work correctly.

Any ideas on how to get this problem fixed? Do all of the operations have the same. NC file name?
