The assessment strategy for your programme is outlined in your Programme Handbook. Modules will provide formative opportunities for you to develop your skills in addition to a summative assessment. In addition, the School of Healthcare provides an academic support model. You will be allocated an academic supervisor for each module.

You will receive an asynchronous session on the school assessment strategy during induction week. The school has provided updates on any changes to programmes caused by COVID responses, at the earliest opportunity.

An overview will be provided by Programme Leads during transition week taught sessions. Wherever possible and practicable, modules will provide a blended approach to learning through a mix of online and campus-based teaching.

Programme leads will provide a overview of plans in transition week and module leads will provide further detail through Minerva and at introductory sessions.

Individual programmes have planned their timetable and teaching strategies to meet their individual needs. It is anticipated there will be face to face sessions across all programmes.

If there are any changes your programme lead will advise you. More information on the role of the personal tutor is provided in the Student Support Handbook. More information and opportunities for training will be shared as they become available. School support arrangements remain the same and details can be found in the Student Support Handbook.

Your Programme Lead will provide an overview of your Programme at the beginning of transition week, giving time for questions. Further information on opportunities can be found in the Student Support Handbook. Please contact Jo Lay j. Module timetables will be able on Minerva, the virtual learning environment. In addition to skills library and the Step up to Masters resource, you should discuss any concerns over academic support with your APT who may be able to guide you through additional strategies.

A range of societies and groups are supported through LUU. Please visit the LUU website to explore this further. Your programme lead will explain how assessment works on your programme and identify where to find resources on Minerva. Search x. For Students Search. What does my induction timetable look like? Will I be required to attend face to face sessions?
