End of file was reached entourage 2008

We logged a bug with our devs on this, but in the mean time the workaround seems to be to add the domain in the "SMTP HELO domain" field in the email settings page. Exactly the same thing happened to us. Last email was sent at pm est yesterday. Since then nothing. All settings are the same. We re-started the Spiceworks service and re-entered the email credentials. Thank you for the assistance. We had this issue as well and adding the HELO domain to our email configuration fixed our applicaiton.

If the Helo suggestion doesnt work try clearing the credentials and typing them back in to verify you have the right one. I'm experiencing this very thing and even followed all the steps included in this tread and all additional threads this refers to.

I updated the spiceworks to the latest version and put "outlook. I have been at this for DAYS and it's becoming an urgent issue to fix. Your domain for your Spiceworks instance is not outlook. Try making that what your actual domain is,I believe it just need to authenticate with your domain. I could be wrong but it wont hurt to try. We are using an oulook. A little further down you should have a spot for additional settings.

I feel really stupid right now, but can you explain to me what the "Email URL hostname" is? How would I find that?
