So it could help others with the same problem. Belkin routers per my experience are exceptionally problematic. Doesn't help that they feel very cheaply made. He says port 88 is used by something else. Until port 88 is freed up he can't forward it and putting it in the DMZ will not work. OP needs to clarify what is meant by port 88 being in use.
