TSPC does not accept paper applications, or personal checks or cash. As of January 1, , TSPC is no longer accepting mailed, faxed, or emailed applications and payments. All applications must be submitted through the eLicensing system. Continuing PDUs are verified in one of the following ways: 1. By completed coursework verified on an official transcript from an approved accredited college or; 3. For more information, see the Renewal Information and Instructions page. To renew an existing three-year license requires 75 PDUs. To renew a five-year license requires PDUs.


If you are reinstating your expired license, you may be subject to additional 'reinstatement' PDUs. Teachers may meet the experience requirement for the Professional Teaching License with either four full years at least days or 0. Substitute teaching assignments of 10 consecutive days or more may be considered to meet this requirement.


The experience must be documented on a PEER form from the school district and you must have held a Preliminary, Professional, Legacy, or Teacher Leader license while teaching. Once you complete your online application and pay your fees, you will be sent an email with fingerprint processing instructions. Please allow at least a week for this email to arrive.
