Changer de patch wow
It sounds like it but I just want to confirm. Comment by SedativOutland what kind of bad joke is this? I guess paying money to transfer was too much, but to be expected. Comment by Kfos Heres a question I havnt seen yet. Will you be time gated if you switch covenants? Or can you grind all the way to where everyone is at currently? Comment by Azaa You lose your deposited anima when you leave a covenant, so make sure to spend what you can. Spend even if you don't want the items, because I've found that you can then join a new covenant, and refund the anima there.
I bought Memory of a Vital Sacrifice for anima at the Kyrian quartermaster had 2 hours to refund it , left Kyrian, joined Necrolord, then refunded it to the new quartermaster. The anima is now in my new reservoir! Comment by Mirahi After changing Covenant, you can catch up with renown by running the dungeons linked to your new covenant.
At the end killing the last boss you gain 1 renown. Best of luck! Warlock Night fae no what have u done! Night fae IS good It was my first switch so no "punishment". I hadn't done anything for the Necrolords so was still at renown 1. It's been a few days to a week, but I haven't received any callings since Is that a thing also?
I keep wondering when they will show up. If anyone could explain or shed some light I would greatly appreciate it. Comment by acciojackie Side note - I changed from Night Fae to Venthyr after I had bought the hearthstone toy for night fae and it still works for some reason, not locked to the covenant.
Comment by Tehbantha Word of warning to anyone thinking of switching Covenants. Even the first time is a pretty big pain when you switch. I was Renown 18 with Venthyr and made the change to Kyrian.
After grinding the daily callings for 4 days and completing every available quest and doing Castle Nathria on Normal and doing 6 Mythic Dungeons, I am renown I am 8 renown behind where I was and I've tried grinding levels pretty hard.
The further down the path you get before making the decision, the harder it seems it will be to get caught back up. Just wanted to share my experience in case anyone is already questioning if they want to go through the change.
I wouldn't recommend it unless you are miserable with your current choice. Comment by Gagx If you plan to switch your covenant and want to take your already stroed anima with you, here is how I did it: I had about 8k anima stored in my old covenant. I bought Venthyr Sinstone that costs anima ten times.
After I switched and unlocked my resevoir I simply sold them 2 hour limit. I now have anima in my new covenent resevoir. Comment by XalonMG This is amazing! I can start with the covenant I least like, working my way towards my 4th and final covenant. This way, I can see every single quest per covenant and still end up playing my fav one.
Comment by Denumerable Just a bit of info from my experience. Initial swap was instant, as outlined above. Around 48 hours later, the "Regain Our Trust" became available from the Kyrian covenant my first time to rejoin a covenant. However, I still haven't had the "Regain Our Trust" quest pop up yet for the Night Fae covenant -- more than 5 days later. I submitted a ticket to Blizzard, but they just auto-responded that I could submit a bug report or search for more information on wowhead.
I am just waiting I'll update this comment once I can do the "Regain Our Trust" quest again. Good luck! Edit -- check the thread below for a great explanation of how this seems to be working now. Easy enough switch. I then started the process of switching back as of last week.
Did the first quest, waited 2 days and got nothing. It seems that it's 2 days and the next reset. Someone else I know did this switch before me. He started the switch on Monday but got the 2nd quest on Wednesday after the reset not on reset like I did cause I started mine the Thursday before reset.
As for what it's like to come back. I have all my renown I had when I left and I tried to buy hearthstones cause I had ish anima so I could buy 2 and resell them to make back the anima in the covenant I am joining and this still works. I bought 2 and got my back after selling them back to the new vendor. So switching back really isn't a pain IMO. You just have to wait a minimum of 2 days or till the week resets. The time waited is the only annoying part.
How often can you jump to another covenant? Like if joining Night fae on a thursday and wanting to leave for Venthyr the following week if you already left them once. Starting the prove your worth for venthyr after joining Nightfae to rejoin the Venthyr.
Or do you have to wait to weekly reset for that? Comment by Spankypants I'm a frost mage that orignally joined venthyr then switched to night fae as I was possibly gonna change to fire spec with frost being nerfed so hard.
Ended up sticking with frost as I just prefer it, so have switched back to venthyr. Thanks for the help. Great article for all the information on Wow addon managers. Comment by Flipityflu just installed Wowup. I like the interface Once Twitch is gone managing addons will blow. Comment by HamarSkald I was unable to get Overwolf to work or even install correctly. Based on my efforts, I'm guessing that this is because I don't play while logged in as an administrator on Windows.
Comment by clb Thanks for this information. I use Twitch and now that they are closing this support I need to find something else to use so the timing of this is great. Just a comment, in the end, you provide a great summary of all the information. However, maybe next time consider a graphic with the addon's to the left and attributes on the top with an x or check to show if that particular addon manager provides xyz service.
Thanks again! Comment by Pizza Curseforge requires Overwolf, which is a game launcher. Uninstalling the bloatware and trying another.
Comment by Aisenfaire Thank you for this article! I hadn't heard about Ajour, and upon testing, I think it's better than Wowup, if only because it lets you show a lot of info for addons such as the crucial 'last updated'.
It's so much better searching and installing in it when you can see at a glance which ones were just updated last week and which ones have been abandoned for 6 years. The auto backup of the WTF folder is also amazing. Comment by numy I seriously doubt that the curseforge app will ever require an account tbh; doesn't really fit with how Overwolf apps in general work. Ofc you'd need it for sync and potentially added premium features, but there's no way around using accounts for those.
Trying Instawow, I can't find the Windows client. Trying CurseBreaker, SmartScreen blocked it too. Trying Twitch Client, discontinued. Trying Overworlf, ADS, a lot of them. Guess I will have to do it manually again, I was using the Twitch client until it got nuked. I tried to use Ajour, even after following the instructions it doesn't recognize any addon. What a shame, it's really frustrating.
After a lot of tinkering I made it work. I had to put the exe on WoW directory and refresh a lot. However, there's an update for it and when I try to download it my computer says it can't download the update because it has harmful files. I've never had this happen before, and it has me a bit concerned.
Instead, I've switched to Ajour and it seems pretty straightforward and simple, which is what I like. Gagner du Renom au patch 9. Pour gagner du Renom au patch 9. Merci metalichap. Pas si vite!
